- It's smart to proof all of our motivators in the Terminal Bridge Discrimination Game. And because toy often outweighs the value of food for prey-driven sport dogs, it's a necessary step to prepare us for value transfer with toys.
Learning to manipulate the rear by way of the head can be a valuable skill, one worth the time spent mastering it. By teaching the dog to be manipulated in this fashion we can very subtly, precisely and effectively control our dogs body position with even the slightest angulation of the hand or wrist.

This is wonderful to watch.
I love this! I've often used both rewards and never thought about having them discriminate between the two. I can see where that will help a lot, especially when training in groups, where they want to go get the toy that someone is using with their dog. Because I DO sometimes want them to go away from me and get the other toy, I wasn't sure how to address the issue.

What is the benefit of using direct vs indirect rewards and vice versa?
Great video and great info.
Also, team French 🤪
Great work Forrest and well explained . Thank you : )
They are both direct reward as they are the main compensation not something in addition to the main reward.🤷🏽♀️
