John Daedalus sociology is a science involving the study of the societal manifestations of sex (a biological term), which we call gender, but gender itself isn’t an objectively defined scientific term. Therefore it is absurd when people say that bill nye is wrong because “biology says their are two genders” or something. Hell, even biology doesn’t say that there are exclusively two sexes, let alone genders.

no. Yes it is a form of life just like that bacteria on mars that you love to preach about. However, bacteria only needs one cell to be considered life and all animals are eukaryotes meaning that they need to be multicellular. So yes, a fetus is what is known as “cellular life” but that it completely different from a developed human. The fetus doesn’t have a developed centralized nervous system until 26 weeks meaning that it cannot feel emotion and it cannot feel pain in the way that a developed animal does. It feels pain in the same way that a plant does, it can sense it, but doesn’t have the nerves to feel it. So why should we put the well bring of an emotionless, numb, clump of cells over that of a developed woman?

Geralt of Rivia yes, obviously it is a very complex topic but going down a different route of why abortions should be legal, roughly 68,000 women die each year from unsafe/at home abortions and about 5 million injure themselves each year with unsafe abortions. Additionally, countries where abortion is illegal have roughly the same amount of abortions yearly as countries where abortions are legal. The only difference between abortions being legal and them being illegal is the safety aspect. Abortions are inevitable and if someone knows that they cannot keep their child for whatever reason that may be, they will find a way to get rid of it whether that be going to a clinic and having a safe procedure done, or almost overdosing on pills and ending up in the hospital, people will always find a way which is why making abortions illegal does much more harm than good.

Genetically reproductive cells have already altered and developed into a form with the purpose of becoming a new human being before conception, their DNA is already unique before conception. There is no scientist that coined the phrase "Life begins at conception." It is an activist slogan asserting that the ownership of life begins at fertilisation which is an entirely contestable claim.

They do not apply to abortion because and aborted pregnancy is not going to be born. The fetus is counted as part of the pregnant woman and there are laws about causing harm to the pregnant woman, which do not apply to a procedure she has requested to terminate a pregnancy that she does not want. The fact you rant about evil people is clear evidence that you are not addressing the issue from a balanced perspective with the reality of human physiology and procreation in mind. Wow. I just lost so much respect for him. You don't get to end the life of another innocent human because you decided to have sex with someone who you end up disliking. The way I look at is, if someone doesn't want a child at that time or cannot take responsibility for one, then just not have sex. Having sex one has to assume the responsibility that there is a possibility of getting pregnant and if it happens, than that is on both of them, if it was consensual of course. Sexual assault is a whole another problem that should never happen but unfortunately it does and hopefully one day we will get to the point were a person wouldn't even dare think about doing that to another but we are not there yet unfortunately.

Unless there's a serious problem, wherein the mother may die due to complications of the pregnancy, late term abortions are rare. If people did more research, this wouldn't even be a debate.

A lot of people want to write "baby" but I generally point out that the term is vernacular and is not a medical, biological, or legal term. I generally try to use terms from science or law. For the rest of the post, let me start by pointing out that people are not rational. Of course we have our big brain that allows us to have rational moments, but that is a rather recent development in our evolutionary history. At a more primal level we are driven by biological urges. You see this anytime people get aggressive when they are hungry (hangry). It is a biological trigger to get something to eat. We have those same type of biological triggers for sex. You might ask why people don't work on contraception. There are contraception failures, but for the most part people are not rational, and some are stupid.
You raise some good points and there is more information available of those things you are not sure about. A human fetus is not created in the womb it develops from an embryo at about 8 weeks after conception it is considered a fetus. There is a scientific definition of how the 8 weeks is calculated but I won't bother going into that right now. A physical medical problem with a pregnancy can occur, every pregnancy is potentially fatal but death in child birth is quite rare these days. There is a notable condition called an ectopic pregnancy tends to need to be terminated. Conditions for when abortion is acceptable is what Roe V Wade decided was just not practical to have. What probability of death is acceptable to abort Does a rape victim have to get a conviction to be allowed to abort ? Taking away the right to privacy means these questions are again relevant and there are not good answers. Human beings do more than just functionality, that's what makes us different from an amoeba. I don't know what you mean by an addiction to sex so I don't know if that is a bad thing. Different people have different arguments, Pro choice are not following a hymn sheet

However, bacteria only needs one cell to be considered life and all animals are eukaryotes meaning that they need to be multicellular. So yes, a fetus is what is known as “cellular life” but that it completely different from a developed human. The fetus doesn’t have a developed centralized nervous system until 26 weeks meaning that it cannot feel emotion and it cannot feel pain in the way that a developed animal does. It feels pain in the same way that a plant does, it can sense it, but doesn’t have the nerves to feel it. So why should we put the well bring of an emotionless, numb, clump of cells over that of a developed woman?

Geralt of Rivia yes, obviously it is a very complex topic but going down a different route of why abortions should be legal, roughly 68,000 women die each year from unsafe/at home abortions and about 5 million injure themselves each year with unsafe abortions. Additionally, countries where abortion is illegal have roughly the same amount of abortions yearly as countries where abortions are legal. The only difference between abortions being legal and them being illegal is the safety aspect. Abortions are inevitable and if someone knows that they cannot keep their child for whatever reason that may be, they will find a way to get rid of it whether that be going to a clinic and having a safe procedure done, or almost overdosing on pills and ending up in the hospital, people will always find a way which is why making abortions illegal does much more harm than good.

The slogan"Life begins at conception" is fundamentally incorrect. As a basic science fact, life is a perpetual relay of living cells forming more living cells, it doesn't begin from something that is not alive and become something that is alive other than theoretically 3.8 billion years ago. In scientific categorisation you can say genetic identity is complete at conception but also you can say reproduction is complete at birth ergo what are you reproducing if not a human being ? Genetically reproductive cells have already altered and developed into a form with the purpose of becoming a new human being before conception, their DNA is already unique before conception. There is no scientist that coined the phrase "Life begins at conception." It is an activist slogan asserting that the ownership of life begins at fertilisation which is an entirely contestable claim.
The reason why people say a new life is because it is a new multicellular organism that was created from two different sets of DNA. And in that case. “ a new life of a multicellular organism” would be more accurate but it would also be a mouthful and just stupid to say.

There are laws restricting things that may impact the life of someone that is going to be born. They do not apply to abortion because and aborted pregnancy is not going to be born.
The fetus is counted as part of the pregnant woman and there are laws about causing harm to the pregnant woman, which do not apply to a procedure she has requested to terminate a pregnancy that she does not want.

We have gotten WAY too comfortable with abortion!! If I would have aborted any of my 3 kids at any stage of their development they wouldn't be here right now. They would be dead.
The way I look at is, if someone doesn't want a child at that time or cannot take responsibility for one, then just not have sex. Having sex one has to assume the responsibility that there is a possibility of getting pregnant and if it happens, than that is on both of them, if it was consensual of course. Sexual assault is a whole another problem that should never happen but unfortunately it does and hopefully one day we will get to the point were a person wouldn't even dare think about doing that to another but we are not there yet unfortunately.

- absent partner: shoutout to all the single parents, they are remarkable. however, it is incredibly hard. hard cannot begin to cover how exhausting being a parent is.

There have been some cases where the human female body cannot survive with the fetus inside of her. Something is physically wrong with her body, or it poses her life to be at risk if she births the child. So yes- sometimes abortion is necessary.

Why do some females put themselves at risk of having a child? If they aren’t ready for that step in life, or ready to be mature enough to raise a child, to care, to also be stable enough to care for another being, why put yourself in a situation where you risk that possibility?
I don’t understand it. Sex is, by nature, a way we can multiply. Yes it can be pleasurable- but again, down to its roots, it’s for use humans to not go extinct lol.

A. OK. You wrote living being, which is OK. Just note that "human being" has a special legal definition that can be found at 1 USC 8 . It is OK to say a human fetus, or human embryo, but a "human being" means that it has already been born alive. A lot of people want to write "baby" but I generally point out that the term is vernacular and is not a medical, biological, or legal term. I generally try to use terms from science or law.
For the rest of the post, let me start by pointing out that people are not rational. Of course we have our big brain that allows us to have rational moments, but that is a rather recent development in our evolutionary history. At a more primal level we are driven by biological urges. You see this anytime people get aggressive when they are hungry (hangry). It is a biological trigger to get something to eat.
We have those same type of biological triggers for sex. You might ask why people don't work on contraception. There are contraception failures, but for the most part people are not rational, and some are stupid.
You raise some good points and there is more information available of those things you are not sure about.
A human fetus is not created in the womb it develops from an embryo at about 8 weeks after conception it is considered a fetus. There is a scientific definition of how the 8 weeks is calculated but I won't bother going into that right now.
A physical medical problem with a pregnancy can occur, every pregnancy is potentially fatal but death in child birth is quite rare these days.
There is a notable condition called an ectopic pregnancy tends to need to be terminated.
Conditions for when abortion is acceptable is what Roe V Wade decided was just not practical to have.
What probability of death is acceptable to abort
Does a rape victim have to get a conviction to be allowed to abort ?
Taking away the right to privacy means these questions are again relevant and there are not good answers.
