Best band of all time. “On Tour Forever”
I was there in the crowd, i've waited 47 years to see BOC live, i first heard them in 1976, loved them since then, i saw 22 shows at Sweden Rock Festival 2023 in 4 days, the best shows were, BOC, Deep Purple, TNT, Skid Row, Testament, Udo, Iron Maiden, Symphony X and Threshold, this is not to say that the rest of the the shows that i saw were not good, i just mentioned my favorites, one show was really bad, the show of Motley Crue, i don't want to waste words about them, we also have to remember that Eric Bloom is 78 years old!!!!! and Donald Roeser is 75 years old, so i have a lot of respect to these guys, thanks a lot for sharing.

I went to the show in hopes of hearing "the Alcemist" - I just think that song is brilliant from the new record. But I had to settle for "it was me from the new stuff. But I was anyway starstrucked by Eric Bloom and Buck. The still got it. Wish it could last forever...

Absolutely top show, brother; die-hard BÖC fan for 30 years, I never tire of their live shows. Eric’s voice got stronger throughout the performance; he should do warm-ups before the show, then he’d sound dead godlike from the start. On “Black Blade’” he sounded nearly as good as he did back in in the 90s when I first saw them.
Set list decent; I would’ve preferred they play either a) more deep cuts, or b) ‘The Alchemist’, but I get it: it’s a festival gig, not a crowd of hardcore BÖC fans.

When you have an oeuvre like their's and you have a limited time, a problem presents itself. I saw them in Chicago the first time and was lucky enough to see ETI, Astronomy and Joan Crawford in the same set.
Great to see and hear BOC doing what they do best - playing great rock music . Sure the mix could have been better , and acoustics are way better after nightfall , but as a BOC fan for over 50 years all I can say is thanks , God Bless You and hope to see you again soon .

For me Blue Oyster Cult was the Best Bsnd from the 70s. With Black Sabbath. Led zep was good but not in the same league with BOC. Dont Fear the Reaper beats Stairway to Heaven as the best song to get major Radio play. On your feet or on your knees along with Ozzy/Randy Tribute the best live slbums of sll time. Just one fans opinion.
I've been a BOC fan a long time but my favorite thing about the band these days is Richie Castellano is still playing with them.
Who would deny, the arena craze is way over. Nowadays their excellence would be spot on in club circuit performances. A rebonding with Joe & Albert would have been marvellous.
I remember seeing BOC live in Allentown, Pennsylvania at the "Agricultural Hall" , on the the grounds of the big county fair, which was a rectangular warehouse. This was in the Summer of 1980. A band called "The Rockets" opened for them, and I was so impressed by them that I bought their album the next week. This BOC show was not the best show I had ever been to, but certainly not the worst.

I saw them 20 years ago and they blow me away.Now, they still have fun,but they are tired (its more than normal in the age they are)
Eric had one of deepest rock voice,but now he should not do vocals anymore.
As a first days fan i will always be thankfull for what they gave to the music planet.

Man I love Blue Oyster Cult! They are such a deceptive band. Sometimes the song will begin and I'll think oh man this one sucks, like the Golden Age of leather. Then I remember that the beginning is just a silly ruse, by the time that you're in the second chorus it just kicks into third gear by the time that you're into the 4th chorus you're in 5th and holding on to your seat for dear life as buck kicks in to an amazing solo. A lot of Blue Oyster Cult's like that. Too bad most people don't realize just how amazing they truly are!

I have brainwashed my kids for over 20 years. And promised them a BOC gig!!
But I am really happy that I didn't take them to this sad piece of shit!

Castellano is a good performer but his "metal poses" and his shredding are definitely not BOC !!! Hard for Eric voice, maybe double his parts more with Castellano or Danny voices in order to have a better performance ? Apart from that the band is very good !

One of my favorite bands of all time… but their voices are terrible these days. Can’t we just admit that? It’s ok to be a fan and say that they have overstayed their time on stage.
Buck still sounds great. Eric, not so much. But I still love them to death. Buck is a guitar god!
