Caleb is learning at a geometric rate. He will become self-aware at 2:14 p.m. Central time, November 17th. Caleb is going to take the North and never give it back!
Nobody ever says Daniels are playing bad teams 😂😂 he’s a rookie getting better every single game literally. Chemistry doesn’t happen overnight. We gone be good fasho
People also don't mention that Caleb played against the #1 (least yards given up) passing defense in his first ever NFL game against the Titans, and then played the #5 passing defense in the NFL (The Texans) in his second game. Jayden played against the Buccaneers in his first NFL game (the 29th ranked passing defense or 4th worst), then the 17th ranked passing defense (bottom half of the league) in his second game. To this date he has yet to face a top 10 passing defense. Yet people will sit there and disregard that fact which I believe gives important context for why it was a slow start and not context that Jayden had to deal with. I like Jayden and think both will be amazing QBs, but it blows my mind when people clown on Caleb for his slow start and not even consider why.
@@stavroszaras6298 We are going to learn a lot about both QB's when the Bears play Washington in week 8. Bears have a bend but don't break defense with what is probably the best secondary in the league. Bears have a bye this week so the coaching staff will have plenty of time to prepare for Jayden and the Washington offensive scheme, this will be a must watch game, can't wait.
@@stavroszaras6298 exactly, i dont get why he is so hyped up and overrated imo but everyone hates on caleb. daniels has beaten the browns, giants, cardinals, and bengals, which all have losing records - which is fine but no one talks trash about daniels like they do caleb.
@@RichardLopez-ij5px So far this year, their name has carried their team more than their defensive play. They are good against the run but not good against the pass. Coming in to this week they've given up the most passing yards in the league (yes, even more than the Jags), and leaving this week, that remains the case.
You just pointed out and reminded us of a very important factor in Caleb's growth - the Bears operate with the second most snaps of plays being called at the line of scrimmage by the qb. Imagine a rookie quarterback who was in his third game or his fourth or his fifth being trusted and asked to be the one to decide what play to call based on the alignment he got?! Caleb said himself he wants all the Playbook and all the control and he is giving himself a baptism by fire that is only going to serve him tremendously
That throw on the fake screen might have been the best catch of Kmet's career. A couple years ago he would've jumped to catch it instead of catching it in stride and he would've tried to juke the defenders instead of driving through them. Him and JJ have progressed so much. We're not used to seeing homegrown talent thrive here
It's why I cant help but respect how he's grown. Dude stuck with us through the trenches and came out better since last year. Dude legit has become a top tier TE
Thank you, you're the first of 3 people covering the INT that said the same thing I did, he floated it. As soon as he threw it I said "Oh shit" because I could see how much air it had under it. That's never good on a deep ball, it's just too much time for the safety. It was almost all arm, if he steps into that throw it's either an incomplete or a TD. I can live with that kind of INT, it wasn't a bad read it was over compensating for over throwing that same pass in previous games. He'll get that dialed in no problem.
Although Caleb is getting better we saw how Caleb does when he is protected through all 6 games. The Oline has protected him the last two games and has allowed him to really shine. Still think we need upgrades when we face better teams tho cuz then we will probably see more pressures when we face our division
This is Caleb's best game because he showed he got that dog in him to overcome adversity(INT). He kept coming. Now he has Arrived..... Bear Down Bear it and Win!!!
Man, no lie. He's reminding me of a more athletic peyton manning.... he's reading defnses well and making all types of changes at the line. Mannn, he's a rookie doing these things 🤯
It's been really fun to watch, you can feel how he's learning each game. I like how he can progress through reads and not panic, that was a talent Fields just did not have. Also, wow has Kmet been solid this season.
Caleb really did get handed the best possible outcome for a rookie QB. Drafted to a team that has a good D and has decent offweae. This offense isn't too good that gives him time to do whatever he wants, and it isn't too bad that he can't do anything. He practices against a good defense that challenges him daily, which punishes him for bad mistakes. Then, the NFL handed the bears a progressive system as a schedule from easy at first to give Caleb an understanding of the game. Then, the second half of the season is to show him how challenging the NFL is.
That very first play is actually scary seeing him try and convert especially as it starts to get cold you don’t want him jamming those fingers off peoples helmets getting these nasty hand injuries, especially this early in his career.
They have been questionable but having seemingly improved the past 2-3 weeks.. against albeit much worse teams. I want to see them do it against the Redskins and Packers these upcoming weeks.

Dude the Jaguars are on the verge of collapse, Lawrence fought a DB last week, seen reports of Pederson has lost the locker room. A win is a win, but lets not act like we just played the gutter of the NFL the past two weeks.
Caleb is just fine. Its the O-line that needs work. Also Waldren needs to do better with what routes receivers are doing and how they are lined up for certain plays. Ive seen formations where Moore, Odunza and Allen could be switched around to accommodate their strengths better. A work in progress that is getting better for sure though.
