The crew at Durango Harley Davison is really top notch. 🤙🏼
We appreciated their willingness to get us going! We had to get the 1k service done there and they were great!
Its actually pronounced "you-ray." On the north side of town, northbound, about a mile or two north of town, used to be a home on the right side where Quantrill (Quantrill's raiders) had a home. In a big meadow. They tried to modernize it with electricity, but it ended up catching fire and burning down. My wife's uncle, Uncle Lucky, lived in the home before it burned down. Uncle Lucky was foreman on a cattle ranch. It burned down when he lived there. You guys do great videos. Fun to watch.
You might have to be our new local history consultant!😂
We really appreciate all of the insight and information in the comments. We found out about the proper pronunciation shortly after filming some of the clips. Sometimes it's hard to get it right, when we're passing through a handful of new towns each day. Although sad about the home burning down, that's a very unique and historic story that is close to home, so thank you for sharing.
Thanks for checking out all the videos, we'll keep them coming 🤠
It was a great journey, and as we say, "happy wife, happy life". Beautiful scenery, great food, some good friends along the way. Route 66 is the dream of many Brazilian motorcyclists. Thanks guys, see you in the next video.
That's the saying alright! Some simple yet effective words right there. Thanks for watching this week's episode Paulo! It sure is a great ride, hopefully you can see it one day
Rocking it gentleman and ladies .
Thanks Gary!!
Gaylin the quintessential historian, look forward to it in every vlog..
Well, we try. ha ha Thanks Freddie!
Love 2 lane guys .. my wife our in our sixties and love to ride .. Great narrations guys!!
Thanks for the support, Wesley!
We went to Winslow, took a bunch of pictures, got the wife to stand next to the flatbed Ford. HAD NO IDEA till this video that the building was just a facad,
Wow! Well, still a great spot and fun, we hope we didn’t ruin anything for you. Thanks for watching.
31:08 Respectfully, not the safest place to pull over. Stay safe and keep making these great videos!
Thanks for looking out Willy. We made due with few options. Luckily there was plenty of room on the shoulder.
Thanks for watching 👍👍
I started watching you guys and I'll say great videos. My wife loves it when you take the wives . She wants to get into riding with me more. So she loves to watch how much fun they have.
Great to hear Kevin. Tell her hello from our family to yours. Thanks for the support.
There used to be a whole building there..i was there in 1990s and about 2005.. there was a great donut shop there ..had the best donuts and coffee.
Well we missed that one. Thanks for sharing.
I love the area and up thru Silverton on up thru Grand Mesa to Grand Jct. and beyond. I spent New Years 2k in Durango. 👌
Awesome place!!’👍👍
Man my ol Lady and I love your show. Hopefully we see y'all at Four Corners this year.✌️⚡⚡
Thanks Powder Monkey!! Not sure if we'll make it this year, but we'll be in Sturgis for sure!
Well we might just have to make that trip too. Safe travels guys. Thanks for the awesome content. We really enjoy watching all the miles you guys put down. 🤘💀🤘
The girls are a good touch, its a huge slice of the market thats now being over looked by the industry.. 2up is important and they are comfortable on camera and do well.. use them more !
Thanks for watching Roch! It's always a great time hitting the road with the wives. Our next two videos will be from a recent trip with them 👍👍
Thanks for the input, you're very right! Haven't seen a lot of 2-up travel videos
@@2LaneLife work ,.. what everyone else is missing.. is a solid battle plan...they have a different energy and a special POV of the experience, work that angel..and ,.. as a crew member of the team.. they can get better shots than the rider or chase bike, given the chance and a learning curve of angels That might be missing or not pushed on..i loved it when my wives became collaborators.. choose to learn and help from the smallest aspect to the big overlook.. they are fun to play with... they do and add so much to a trip.. time they had a share of the spotlight on how much they add to a trip.. the saddle can sometimes be a lonely spot... they are also good directors, cause they see problems differently than we do.. just sayin brother.. you got a great team and all the right players now... your doin great things.. on a good track... stay with it
Thanks Roch. I’m sure they appreciate your comment. You’ll see other drops with them.
The whole loop from Durango N to where you can cut west and down toward Telluride, then Dolores & back to Durango is an incredible ride!
We dig that one too!!
I spent several years working for ASA Welder's Supply in Cortez. I have been to Telluride many times along with Dolores, Durango, Silverton, and went to 8th grade at Grand Jct. Junior High back in '68 ( I'm an old fart!)
Colo. is one beautiful state!
@@SublimeSubdue We love it as well. We've been through the state many times. Thanks for the comment!
Another class A production. Loved it. You guys are great ambassador 's for the mortorcycling community (maybe with the exception of one way streets)
Thanks for the comment Rob, glad you enjoyed this week's drop 👊. Lance is on his own on those one way streets haha
Cool ride, bros! I stood at the same place at the Colorado in Laughlin!
Stay safe!
Nice, thanks for the comment Peter.
Another super vlog! Surprised you didn't ride up to Ouray and get a shot of the American flag on the side the cliff.
Thanks Ken! We've been through there before, definitely a cool area! We'll have to catch a shot of that next time 🤘
Great video & journey! I have been a subscriber for a week and I must say that I have already watched at least 10 hours of videos and they are very informative. You guys have inspired me to want to take a nice road trip. I am in the process of purchasing a Harley and getting my first 300 mile plus trip going as soon as the weather changes. Thank you!!
Awesome! Welcome to the family. What are you getting and let us know if we can help with your planning on your first trip! We appreciate the energy!
@@2LaneLife I am very close to purchasing a 2013 Electra Glide Ultra Limited. I definitely will reach out for tips and I was just watching the 2020 & 2021 Sturgis packing videos. Very informative and helpful. Thank You again.
Gents - I gotta say, I'm thinking of handing in my Colorado Card....until this video, I had NO CLUE Durango had an annual rally. Your videos are exceptional. I hope to run into you out in the wild blue yonder.
Right on Albert! It was definitely a cool rally. A little different vibe than rallies like Sturgis or Daytona, but still awesome. Glad you're diggin' the videos, catch you out there!
A nother great video
Thanks Greg, we appreciate the support!
Awesome and well done vidios!!!!!!
Thank you! 👍👍
You should have rode it while it was still active, what a blast that was
That would've been nice! Thanks for watching Big Al!
Lovin it, well done guys 👍
Thank you!! 👍👍
Guys, I don't know how I ended up finding you, but your content is second to none. I'm hooked! Be safe and well.
Thanks for the comments Bob! We appreciate it! We love what we do.
Man you guys wife’s are troopers!🤠 enjoying your channel! Ride Safe!
Yea they are! They handle long days in any condition no problem! Thanks for watching, will do 🤘🏼
I was thinking the same thing. That's hot and I'm from West Texas.
Super videos you guys! This dude is from San Clemente, California yet stuck living in New England for the past several years. Job, grandkids and a six month riding season. Retiring and we are moving back home to the South West next spring! You all seem like some fine folks and really do a great job! Thanks, George 👍🇺🇲
Thanks George! We appreciate Family and sounds like you do too! Welcome to our family!
"Heeeey its 2 Lane Life and I was like whoooaaaaa!"
😂🤘
One of your best videos I love that part of the country. I could live there to but for the snow, worked in it for to long I guess.
Thanks Steve! We love that area too, we'll definitely be back once the snow clears
GREAT I ENJOYED IT!!
Thanks Daniel!
Another awesome video!! I especially love that you always capture our 🇺🇸 🤘🏻
That's right!!🇺🇸 Gotta show our beautiful flags all over the country. Thanks for watching Jose 🤘🏼
You guys always put out top notch quality videos, I'm hooked on your channel. Your hotel & food selections are great, I'm too old for that moto-camping stuff. I also enjoy long distance touring 400-600 mile days, here in Texas it's easy to do. Looking forward to seeing your next adventure.
We appreciate that Michael, glad you're enjoying all of the content. We definitely know what we like when it comes to hotels and food spots, but we're always down to try something new along the way. After a long day on the bikes, we opt for hotels most of the time too. Still love camping but not doing it much these days. There has to be some great views on the road out there in the Lone Star, we'll make it out one of these days. Thanks for watching!
Living the good life!I enjoy all your videos. Keep them coming.
Thats right Gordon 🤘🏼 Thanks for tuning in!

Thanks guys I really love seeing these places I use to be a every day rider my last bike was a new 92 FLH but in 98 I was paralyzed from the waist down n haven't been able to travel since I do wish in some places ya could show more of where ur at I luv my USA. Luv ya n see ya down the road
Thanks for coming along for the journey, Jeff! Sorry to hear about that, but thanks for the support! Glad we can share the love for the 'ol USA!
We rode over to Winslow last week then over to Flag and down Oak Creek Canyon . Keep hoping to see y’all out there . Your show is awesome !
Nice! Winslow is always a great place to see so we figured we'd share it with everyone here. Oak Creek is great too! Stay tuned on our I.G. and you might catch us the next time we run through there who knows..
Thanks for the support Arizona Rider!
Nice job guys. Looks like a great rally. ✌️
It was an awesome ride!!
Great vlog guys, the small American towns look so cool. Really like the history and meal sections too💯
Hey Aaron! Thanks again for the support. I hear something might be headed your way next week. Fingers Crossed!🤞 I’ll let you know.
2LaneLife that’d be so good! Can’t wait 🤘🏼
Great area, I’m there for work but look forward to next year’s rally to visit for fun
Awesome place! Great outdoor areas there! Thanks for the comment.
Really a conversation where you both hold cameras and talk at each other. Whatsupwithdat? Also a little hint, black shirts in cool weather and lite shirts in the heat. Take from a Texan who rides in the heat most of the year, oh yeah & the humidity.
We figured we'd try something different with the GoPros. Thats awesome you've been able to ride in that kind of weather, we have as well. Plenty of 110-120 degree days in the books. Ride on Ric
Nice channel and awesome clip! We rode the 550 Million $ Hway and it was simply awesome 🤘🏼😝🤘🏼
Yes we love that stretch too! Thanks for the comment!!👍👍
November 7th starts my 4 day msf riders course at Patriot Harley Davidson in Fairfax Virginia yes I’m on the east coast . I’m going to have to get my 2LaneLife gear to wear at my training. Have to rep my brothers at 2LaneLife.
Thats right! Great to hear Garry, that should be a great course. Enjoy
Just want to give a shout out for Virginia, and y'all are kick ass again in your vlogs awesome ride and very cool and interesting place y'all travel to. See y'all down the road!
Thanks Jared! We would love to get to Virginia! Thanks for the support!!
All roads lead to Williams 👍
That's right Neil! 👍
Rode down the full Route 66 in 2015 fantastic road ,was supposed to go back this year to ride trough Death Valley and the Pacific coast hi way but a little virus put a stop to that , hopefully next year 😎😎😎🇮🇪🇮🇪
Sounds great. Hopefully you can make the trek next year. Thanks for the support.
San Juan County Baby👍🏻
Awesome!! 👍👍
one more time grettings from Portugal
Whats up Alexandre!
Are you a history buff or just making stuff up about the town? Lol. Either way great videos guys look forward to when you drop one each week!
We like history and do some research, especially in these small towns. Not making stuff up but sometimes may get a date or two wrong! Thanks for supporting.
Great video. You guys look like your having a great time. Love the hand held shots, history of the areas and of course the food run down. One question, who was on the the blue RG in silverton? Look forward to the next adventure.
Thanks for that Angel, glad you're diggin' the shots and history and all that! That was a friend from the industry that joined us on our rip to Silverton 👍🏼
Watching your video's makes me wanna get my Harley out and ride instead of work.
Work hard, ride hard. Hopefully you can get out soon, thanks for watching Joe!
great video will have to go out there sometime i hope next summer i ride i have a1999 honda shadow 750 am planning a trip to okla next summer to see my family
It’s a must see. And right on, family is important!! Go get it!
Great video guys! and agreed, Go Pro is awesome. I have a Hero 7 Black. I use a helmet mount mostly. And a short selfie stick. Just got the clip for a body mount, seems to work well so far. I am heading out next spring, on a 60 plus day tour. Doing all of the northwest and drop down to do all of the southwest, then back to northern Florida. Gonna use the Go Pro all the way! Have fun, be safe and enjoy!! Dave
Thanks Dave! Be safe and sounds like a great run!! We hope to get out that direction in 2021.
Well at least they are riding Their high price H.D. Instead putting them on on a trailer and poling them behind a motor coach !
That's how we do it.
"Billout Burnie there..."
😂😂😂
Another great video. Keep up the great work, you are inspiring! I am thinking of starting my own channel, how does Two Lane Life Downunder sound?
Thanks Scott! Sounds pretty cool! Love to see some of the roads over there!
Here is Austria again. I love your Videos! Amazing!
By rhe way you should come and check out the European Bike Week (every September) in Austria. It is the world's largest rally hosted by Harley Davidson
Austria in the house! Whats up Günther, thanks for watching. We've heard about that before, definitely a huge rally! We'll have to make it out there one of these years and rent bikes, sounds awesome!
💪🤯✌️
👍👍🤘🤘💪💪
Can you guys tell me one more time what happened with that GoPro?
I don’t quite understand it yet 😉 who found the camera away from the road in the bushes? 😂
Haha 5th time's a charm😂. Oh the things that happen on the open road..
Howdy guys! I love your videos! I grew up in the 4Corners area and have mostly lived in Blanding, Utah, Cortez, Colo, etc. May I ask what camera models you are using?
Also, my current bike is a 2020 Street Glide Special with the Scorched Orange/Silver Flux paint.
Awesome!! You can see all of the equipment called out when you open the more on the Vlog. We use GoPro 8’s, and Josh now has a 9, Sony A7III, DJ Mavic Pro (Fly More) thanks for asking!
Thank you for your reply! I failed to mention my name: Val Hoggard and I am 66 yo. Also a former member of Southern Utah Chapter HOG. I travel as much as I can; my last Harley was a 2012 Ultra and since I was looking for a lighter bike, I traded for the 2020 SGS I have now.
I look forward to your blogs and vlogs too. And I wanted to add that I attended school up in SLC, Utah and graduated from Weber State University many years ago. :)
🙏💪💯
Thanks for watching David!
ya'll probably know by now but, the town is pronounced U Ray.
Haha yup we learned that shortly after. Thanks Meatheadintx!
Anyone know which seat is on the orange Road Glide??
Yes, it’s a Saddlemen Slim LS. You can see it at 2LaneLife.com
see more restaruants than highway maybe food channel would be a better choice.
Umm okay.
How do you like the new Road Glide? I have a 20 RGL 131 great bike. Stay safe!
So far so good! Really diggin' it, and we'll be doing a review video soon comparing the RG to SG as well as a build series on the upgrades to the new RGS. Thanks for watching!
How did the bikes handle that 111 heat ?
They did great! Gaylin's bike was brand new at the time, and is still running like a champ with no issues 25k miles later
Thanks for watching, Bayou Boy!
What type of headsets do you use?
Lexin G16. You can see on our website 2LaneLife.com
What month did you guys leave for this trip
September. Just a few weeks ago 👌🏼
What comms are you running on helmets?
We are running Lexin, you can see on our website at 2LaneLife.com thanks for the question.
I ride a Dyna Switchback, What do you guys recommend for a trunk?
If you already have a rack our tour pack mount, you could bolt a pelican case or regular HD tour pack
@@2LaneLife awesome thanx for the advice! just need something other then my saddlebags.
is that you sam elliott playing a biker posing as sam elliott
👍👍
Lance that mustache has gotten grey in the last 6 months. 🤭
This Vlogging stuff takes its toll! 👍👍
Lol and stopping with the color to just go natural
How would your wife compare the wind protection comfort of the new Road Glide vs the CVO you had? Thanks
She enjoyed the Road Glide, we'll have a review of the differences between the two setups coming soon! We'll also be talking about it a little on our Friday Live Garage Talk next week🤘🏼
Thanks, will tune in😎
Dig your vlogs and places you two go. However, please drive in the right, pass on the left🤗😁🤗 Typical Californians😛
Thanks for watching, Brian. Unfortunately, many people seem to forget that the left lane is the passing lane and just hang out at low speed, so we will pass on the right when need be.
Question. I just went to a full face helmet for me and the wife from half helmets. Where to u put the helmets when going into a restaurant? Only one helmet fits in tourpack nd just barly
Get you a king tour pak or locks installed on your handlebars or crash bars for your full face helmet
We actually leave them on the seat or if it’s windy hang off the mirror or highway pegs. If your worries about someone taking them we have left one on the seat with the chin strap placed in the saddle bag and one on the passenger floorboard with the chin strap in the saddle bag close the lid and locked and your done. Lots of choices and thanks for the question.
J Brown thx. Yeah already have a large tourpack on my RGU. Only fits one fullface helmet and barely.
2LaneLife thx. Thats a good idea. Obviously we have no helmet law in CT so dont know al the tricks of the fullface helmet trade🤘🤘🤘
@@bushrod6258 A cheap fix is a lil cable for locking up a bicycle. They're usually coated to prevent scratching. Can also be passed down the sleeve of a leather jacket so you can leave it on the bike for those who don't have bags.
lance, were you stoned this video?
Sneeky elbow on roof top???????
This is the first video I have watched that included your girls........ You boys have out-kicked your coverage.
Plenty more where that came from. They came along on the whole East Coat Run from Milwaukee to Maine if you want to check that out🤙
I love calls videos but man you keep butchering the names of Colorado towns. keep up the kickass videos and keep em rubber side down
Haha, running through multiple towns a day, sometimes we butcher names. Thanks for watching, Cody! 🙌
Are your wives sisters?
Not by blood, but by experiences 👍
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz boooooring
