    Finally got my Ascents... They are awesome! After many years of sticking to stands and parallettes for push-ups due wrist pain, theses are great! Feels so good to be able to be pain free and a normal push up 🙂

    Thanks for the awesome review Matt! Hydroplates now come with a tiny collapsible funnel to help speed up the filling process. Forgot to inform you!

    Ordered swissies a few weeks ago on a whim - FB ad. I've got stiff ankles, a big belly, short arms, and stubby hands. Desdlift set-up is hard. The swissies allow me to deadlift conventional and still keep the weight in front, instead of to the sides the way a trap-bar deadlift does. Excellent for Pendlay rows too, for the same reason. I love them!

    My gym has a pair of swissies, I've used them for front squats. They work pretty good

    The swissies look perfect for my seal rows to get back more range of motion. Going to give these puppies a try.
    Thanks for the video bro.

    Thanks for the review! I absolutely love these kinds of little gym gadgets. I've been wanting to do neutral grip pull ups for a while but I wasn't particularly keen on buying a whole new pull up bar to do it. The swissies look like a perfect solution.

    The wedges and neutral grip pull up attachments look good, dumbell squats without wedges are ackward with a slight heel elevation it feels completely different

    Remy Mock, the inventor of the Swissie and founder of Kensui, makes clear that the Swissies are designed for pulling exercises. The minimal gap between the user's hand and the handle of the Swissie provides a lock so that the Swissie does not accidentally disengage from a bar or strap. Hence, your criticism about using the Swissie for pushing exercises is misplaced. Otherthan this oversight, you provide insightful, helpful observations about this product.

    hey man, do you know how we're supposed to tie the 360 swvl grips around a bar? There are multiple ways of doing it but I'm doing it wrong, can you do a video or explain it to me, thanks !

    What are the differences from doing pullups using neutral grips vs the normal overhand grip?

    • @AL_FARID_23
      @AL_FARID_23 Рік тому

      MUCH easier on the shoulders. More natural range of motion

    I think the wood version of the swissies have more room for the hand and also an adjustable strap.

      That's their SWVL handles, which are great too!

      @@RedDeltaProject Yes. Typo. I have most of their products. They're all great. I'm also hoping, and have suggested, a kettlebell handle for plates (I travel a lot).

    Hi, when doing pull-ups with the Swissies, do they wobble at all or do they remain fully stationary on the bar when doing the pull-up?

    Pullup mate made those sort of pullup hadles years ago. Stil got mine and they fon't hang so lio so better for lower height overhanging bars, Nothing new here I'm afraid,

      For sure, I saw some handles like this from an old muscle mag back in the 60's. Nothing new, just better.

    Does the neutral grip pull-ups better target the forearm muscles?

    Would the swissies work with the bands?

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  2 роки тому +1

      They do! but more for the pulling. They are a bit more awkward for pushing moves as they don't allow much room for the wrist.

    would the swissies fit a 2" fat pull up bar?

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  Рік тому +1

      probably not. I have a 1.5" bar (I think that's the diameter) and they don't fit. but they certainly fit a 1" bar.
