Market is flooded. 2012 sat I got 3 weeks after release. People didn’t like those either. Wasn’t until years later they started calling them grails. Me personally I like them all. Got my pair off the shock drop I’m happy.

For people confused, I would recommend looking at the weartesters' review on the shoe. He basically explains that the colors are correct and the same as the 89 pair.

Got rid of my pair. Underwhelmed when I opened the box. The problem is there are so many leaked pictures, videos, early reviews that go around for months, that when they finally arrive the thrill is gone and they’re just another shoe.
How are we going to distinguish between a real pair with quality control issues vs a replica on feet?

They look good kinda disappointed on the leather tho the shoe does feel a bit cheap but I’m comparing them to the reimagined bred 4s that just came out on the bright side shouldn’t be that hard to get if you actually like them

We have come along way compared to having plastic stiff leather, now we get real bottom of the barrel paper thin leather. That's progress.

Are these the same comfort as the Bred 4s Reimagined?
I’d say they’re pretty close to the same. The insole in the bred is polyurethane and feels better than the military’s. For some reason they gave us the shitty dreamcell insoles for the military

JMK you’re wrong. The 06 were Off-White too just like the 89’ and 2024 retro. The 2012’s were just totally fucked up all around. Everyone hated the 2006 pair too and even went on sale for $80-$90.

Raw materials are different over time even Nike try to duplicate OG as close as possible.

What gets me is youngins complaining about the quality of leather and color on a pair of shoes that replicates a 1989 pair as closely as we’ve ever witnessed.
