Can we please stop this nonsense of Biafra, and unite as "Nigerians" to heal the country. When you were born, you were not born into "Biafra", but into a country that already existed called Nigeria. This is one of the ironies of "forgetting one's history". We already fought a war, for those of you who are too young to remember, and it was bloody. We don't want to return to that route in order to resolve our political problems. Dialogue is the only way. About the comments of the retired Air Commodore, I found it very measured, articulate and informative. Our country is currently run by very inept and selfish individuals. One thing I hope will come out of this "uprising" is that the younger generation will gain self-confidence and begin to challenge the old guard. Mr. Buhari has been a disappointment, both in terms of his inability to properly communicate with the people, and his lack of decisive leadership. I have watched him over the past several years as he has dithered, delayed, and fail to stamp his leadership in various disputes around the country. The guy is too old and out of touch with the modern world. It's time for a change in leadership, because Nigeria is dynamic and vibrant country that needs a vibrant leader. The Air Commodore has a better grasp of the nuances of government than Mr. Buhari. I, for one, cannot abide idiots occupying positions of leadership, when we have better equipped and talented leaders. Keep the Revolution alive, and sweep out all corruption and old leadership. That's my position. Nigeria is too important to the human race to fail.
