I come up on lot of different problems each time, but this, this tutorial was more than perfect! You stated every error that could happen and told us how to avoid doing that, and also the links in the description were very carefully ordered in a way which was very visual. I really liked that you showed us the Net 6.0 becuase no other creator would have showed us this. Thanks
if ya really want to play standalone you can emulate a stripped down version of windows on your phone (android only) and run steam there. OR you can put windows on a chromebook with the use of a flash drive and a library computer or a usbc to usb adapter with your phone (android only)@@HippohiFIVE

for any one on quest 3 (or maybe quest 2 also idk) who is having issues patching bonelab, try moving out the obb folder for bonelab to your downloads folder and patching, then move it back. it work for me and maybe it could help yall.
@@Mychael.Montijo i moved it to my quest downloads, thats just so its not in the obb folder, you could move it to basically whatever folder as long as its not still in the obb folder while patching it.
OK I SINCE NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT THIS I HAVE TO SAY SOMETHING. If you don't have a PC at all to run it, you can install tidefusion, which is another networking layer that doesn't require a pc
yeah dude. On a quest 3 like a few other people who have the same issue. Opening bonelab for the first time after the lemon patch just doesnt work. I just get the 3 dots loading over and over and does not take 9 minutes... it's never ending. If there's a fix or solution then a reply would be nice but if not then someone needs to let people know its not compatible with quest 3. I even uninstalled the game, tried it again, restored the game and tried again.

Whenever I get to the step to where I have to boot up bonelab for the first time, ill leave it on and loading for a solid 20 minutes without anything happening. All it shows is the 3 dots loading sign. Any hints as to anything I did wrong or is something is not working? if so please let me know.

@@puppetmastermod Yes, as far as I know. My only issue rn is my quest is taking forever to install bonelab. I have very very fast wifi, but its taken 12+ hours to get half way through. I think it has smth to do with the Meta/Oculus servers. Should work better if you live in the city.
@@eze_0828 Only if you live far from Oculus servers. I visited my family in the city and it loaded very very fast despite them having extremely slow wifi. Took around 7 min.

@ogan4188 Uninstall or delete app data, basically restart your progress. I know it sucks but it happened to me and i was happy that bonelab still worked
@@ninjalogan4188Ik this is late but I ran into this issue and figured out a solution After the latest update with meta, when lemon loader patches your game, it gets rid of important files. What I would do is plug in your quest to your computer, then first go to the obb files of bonelab, and copy the files in obb, then paste them to your desktop. Do the same to the files in com (literally everything except for the folder named obb and com, only copy the files inside that folder) them, once you've patched bonelab, just copy the files from the obb folder back into the obb folder, and the files from the com folder in to the com folder. Good that helps and Imk if you run into any issues

I then re-patched it with lemon loader to give it a retry. I opened Bonleab and it didn't even give me the "open app or restore" popup. I also timed it and it was taking over 20 minutes to load so I just turned off my quest. should I delete Bonelab and start from the very, very beginning? Or should I just keep re-patching and retrying?

Yeah, if I’m being honest I was just angry and taking my anger out on this video, it did help me get farther than before, and I got to replay the campaign with fresh eyes, it was pretty fun and now I’ve got most of my mods back and getting more of my progress back too, so it’s really not that bad, maybe I’ll move my mods to a different drive if i try to do this again
When installing Lemon Loader, anyone else get to the screen where it asks you to pick a directory on your Quest but all of them are blocking you from selecting them with the message "can't use this folder. To protect your privacy, choose another folder." ?
Yea I struggled with this too, what you have to do is instead of downloading the lemon loader with apk at the end you have to download the one that says “bypass” at the end and it will work 👍

@@monreeee_KD23 You most likely have an old version of lemon loader, so you have to delete it and reinstall the newest version, then repatch Bonelab. It should work after that.
its been loading the first restart for lemonloader for 30 minutes but it wont load ive been very patient but cant wait any longer im starting to loose hope
I think lemonloader might not work on quest 3, unless I’m doing something differently than the last two times I did it on quest 2, because when I try and patch bonelab at the end it always gives an error about how it can’t save the data and if I’m sure if I want to continue and the time I did it broke bonelab and it never loaded even after 20 minutes
You have to back up your obb files and put them back when you're done, lemon loader automatically deletes them and is supposed to replace them, but quest 3 is weird
I can’t find my friends in matchmaking and when I try using fusion helper to join them, it’ll just crash fusion helper. And for me the active layers for steamvr and spacevr say proxy steamvr and proxy spacevr. i can’t figure out why and how to fix it
Also for anyone who doesn't have a PC at all there's a version of The mod you can download called fusion riptide and it's fully stand alone but you can't join public only friends

Tried the lemonloader patch 3 times . Allways works to the point where I have to re-install . Then I click on "install" and this piece of shit pops the "DO NOT USE PIRATED SOFWARE!!! RESTORE NOW!!!" message on screen . I allways click on open app , but it just keeps comming back and everytime it pops up it stops the installation process . So I end up ininstalling the game and can't patch it properly. Big thanks to meta for being so helpful
Yeah none of this works anymore. The Zuck saw to that. Can't set up the data backup folder and you just stay in black screen limbo forever past an hour when you load up Bonelab to apply the update/mod.
So I launched Fusion Helper and everything else, but however, the white text that is supposed to show up after running bonelab only stopped at "[API loaded no]". So when I tried to join servers, it kept saying I disconnected from current server.
When I tried installing lemon loader I went on side quest but the button you told me to press wasn’t there just a red bar that said credits any advice?
@@MartDaMarMot Okay, it does but with a workaround. Some people can apparently patch Bonelab just fine, but most from what I've seen will get an error saying Lemon Loader can't write to obb/data

Ok so y’all I found a way for quest 3 so it is lemon loader but before you patch it back up your game using side quest then patch it but when you patch it. It won’t work so when you patch it it removes your obb files so you have to back up your game patch it and put your backup files in the obb files and i think it will work. (For quest 3)

I don’t think this method works anymore, 4:39 when patching bonelabs through lemonloader you have to install bonelabs through lemonloader but the restore prompt opens before it’s done every time and just brings you back to the install prompt before it completes I got the mods to load it but the extra void machines dont load in but I know for certain the mods are in my game

I believe this is caused by being on the wrong version of lemon loader
it would be easier to get a medical degree, work as a doctor for the next 5 years, get a pc and play fusion that way instead of quest

Do others need mods you have (not fusion or stuff) like lightsabers or an npc to be downloaded to their quest or no

I think lemonloader might not work on quest 3, unless I’m doing something differently than the last two times I did it on quest 2, because when I try and patch bonelab at the end it always gives an error about how it can’t save the data and if I’m sure if I want to continue and the time I did it broke bonelab and it never loaded even after 20 minutes

You have to back up your obb files and put them back when you're done, lemon loader automatically deletes them and is supposed to replace them, but quest 3 is weird

I can’t find my friends in matchmaking and when I try using fusion helper to join them, it’ll just crash fusion helper. And for me the active layers for steamvr and spacevr say proxy steamvr and proxy spacevr. i can’t figure out why and how to fix it

After I patch Bonelab it just gets stuck on 3 donuts once I open it and I’ve tried reinstalling send everything😢 I also get a warning that says Failed to save data!failed to save any data stored in android/ data or android/obb.this could break some games.continue? Before it asks me to uninstall the game while patching

your game is fine, the loading process just takes about 10m after you patch. make sure to listen next time

Just drag and drop the spiderlab.dll in your mods folder
Tried the lemonloader patch 3 times . Allways works to the point where I have to re-install . Then I click on "install" and this piece of shit pops the "DO NOT USE PIRATED SOFWARE!!! RESTORE NOW!!!" message on screen . I allways click on open app , but it just keeps comming back and everytime it pops up it stops the installation process . So I end up ininstalling the game and can't patch it properly. Big thanks to meta for being so helpful

Yeah none of this works anymore. The Zuck saw to that. Can't set up the data backup folder and you just stay in black screen limbo forever past an hour when you load up Bonelab to apply the update/mod.

So I launched Fusion Helper and everything else, but however, the white text that is supposed to show up after running bonelab only stopped at "[API loaded no]". So when I tried to join servers, it kept saying I disconnected from current server.

When I tried installing lemon loader I went on side quest but the button you told me to press wasn’t there just a red bar that said credits any advice?

@@MartDaMarMot Okay, it does but with a workaround. Some people can apparently patch Bonelab just fine, but most from what I've seen will get an error saying Lemon Loader can't write to obb/data

You have to install lemon loader that says “bypass” at the end instead of the apk one
Ok so y’all I found a way for quest 3 so it is lemon loader but before you patch it back up your game using side quest then patch it but when you patch it. It won’t work so when you patch it it removes your obb files so you have to back up your game patch it and put your backup files in the obb files and i think it will work. (For quest 3)

You have to back up your files, Patch bonelab with lemon loader, after you patch bonelab go to the obb files and put your backup files in there.

I'm not entirely sure if the release build of fusion helper requires it, but if so, then yea it'd be mandatory.

When I go to enter Fusion Helper it doesnt work theres no .exe files and there are so many other files
extract the zip folder, then open the program called 'fusionhelper'

I don’t think this method works anymore, 4:39 when patching bonelabs through lemonloader you have to install bonelabs through lemonloader but the restore prompt opens before it’s done every time and just brings you back to the install prompt before it completes I got the mods to load it but the extra void machines dont load in but I know for certain the mods are in my game

this doesn't work right now bc you can't allow lemon loader to use the files for bonelab, you have to wait till the next quest update
PSA: do not uninstall lemon loader, the only way to reinstall it is to factory reset your headset.

Very likely my fault, but when putting the Fusion Mods and Plugins folder into side quest, nothing happens and it doesn’t download. BTW I’m using a dell gaming laptop and using Opera GX. Any help?
