Beautiful boat. In my opinion, the classic lobster boat design is "function over form" that results in beautiful form. You just don't see this often. We don't have much of this design out on the West Coast, and I always wonder why.
11 years ago, any up date on how the boat is doing? Has it been reengined or anything? I have seen them with so many different engines over the years but to date the quietest has meen a MAN engine. Traditionally you need to almost yell when your at the back of the wheel house and the other person is at the stern. With the MAN it was so quiet you could talk normal. Volvo Pentra is still the most common from 700 to 1000 hp though. Hard to believe when i was a kid the still used the GM 292 straight six.

if you have to ask...you can't afford it. In theory, it shouldn't cost...it should pay! As long as it's a good season, lobstering is a money maker.
Never seen the champagne bottle broken on such a small boat before. Nothing wrong with it just not done often.
