I am proud of this song. It's full of culture and modernism, and haters always gonna hate whatever Australia brings. People already call it 'dated' or 'boring' but miss the bigger picture. They're excited at countries sending songs referencing their past culture and heritage, but when we do it they don't just hate, they despise it.
At the end of the day, if Aboriginal kids who struggle to be themselves can see Electric Fields perform on the stage in Sweden in front of millions, using Yankunytjatjara language, it's a winner.
