I know right - it was a tough call when they were up against Kate Miller Heidke. Yet I'm so grateful for that selection as it introduced me to them. I can't help thinking that Anpuru Maau would have been a better choice. I'm 100% confident it would take out the Eurovision title. Regardless I hope their presence does something to repair our racist image after the No Vote won.

It's about realizing our place in the natural world and that we are to be stewards of the land living in harmony with each other and nature. It's genuinely a lyrical masterpiece with its clever nods to the golden ratio and our universe. I'm curious if the golden ratio was used at all in the production of the song or just in lyrical meaning.

The song is amazing. I voted 5 times from Ireland. The reality is the staging was a mess. It was like they had 5 different ideas and couldn't settle on one. Still one of my favorite songs of the year.
@@rallytip That maybe a factor. However, the catalyst was that none of the juries actually took part in the voting in the semis. This lead to a lot of really bad songs to get into the final and leave a lot of the good ones out!
