  • The most OP effect on the MK1 for sure. The Filter allows us to do many different ideas as well as hone in our sounds. Up there in importance with the EQ and G2B, the Filter is one of those basic effects that we as loopsers can't live without! Let's learn 'some' of the various ideas we can use the Filter for :)

I actually have a tutorial on that! You can check out (ua-cam.com/video/FhrwyARURvU/v-deo.html ) this tutorial at the beginning to see how and where to hook up a piano pedal (at the beginning of the video). You can also check out (ua-cam.com/video/72CkpRt4bR8/v-deo.html ) this tutorial to learn how to use assigns with it :) If you're learning BizKit's new stuff, have fun! I used to have his exact pedal he uses and it's fantastic :)

Hey man, nice hair! :) I have some questions. I need to connect a mic (Rode M2) and a digital piano to the loop station. Will I need an audio interface, or can I do it directly on the RC-505? I'll be doing a live performance, and the piano is for some details in the middle of the song. Should I connect it to the loop station or directly to my laptop? And,I will need a instrumental of a especific song, the loop station allow add it and create the loop over that instrumental?Sorry if this sounds confusing, but I really am! 🤡💀 The people who will hear this will be on the same laptop where I'll plug everything in.

      Thank you ^_^
You can in fact plug all of that into the loopstation. Both for the MK1 and MK2. If you want to know more about that, my tutorial "What Does Every Button, Knob, and Hole do on the Boss RC-505 MK1" (ua-cam.com/video/FhrwyARURvU/v-deo.html ) talks about how to hook all of your things (Laptop, piano, and mic) to the loopstation. As well as the Instrument Level knob. The only difference between the Mark 1 and 2 is there are 2 of each hole instead of 1 each. Plus a sub port, but don't worry about that one.
You can create your loop with the piano, and then add whatever you want on top of that same loop :) Or have a loop, then add a piano, then add more! You can do so much haha But that tutorial I linked will help you out! If you have further questions, feel free to ask them over on that video :D

Yup, I agree. I've gotten better since I filmed this a year ago. But that was one of the things that I noticed that I needed to improve on. So I've been working on it since and I think I'm a lot better at it :D Next thing to work on is on my voice with singing and rapping
