i met some Germans in WA back in the early 90's, in my travels that have not yet ended. They said to me , in Europe we drive for four days we go through five countries, in WA we drive for five days, we still in same state.
My advice. Just go the opposite way you've been recommended or always hear.about. For the real Australia and real Australians just head doen the road unknown with no sign posts. You'll be treated like a friend and not a tourist with money.
Im from Broome, I nevers stressed about crocs out there though i habent been back in a few years.
I've lived in WA for 60yrs and I've yet to see it all. It's huge.
