That’s one heck of a sandbox to play in. It would have taken a lot of trips, with my single axle Tonka dump truck, to haul that pile away back in the early 1960’s. Keep the excellent videos coming.
Two skid loaders would best too much?? Or maybe the backhoe! One loading truck while other is getting a bucket full, IAM sure you have your reasons why only using one, Thanks Again for the great content Joey From Statesville NC
Chris,,, I just have a feeling that you excelled in mud pie making as a kid 😂👍😂 cause you an artist with mud and yuck now. Impressive,,, yeppers,,, impressive.
Chris, Have you ever considered using a concrete pump to pump the slop to the trucks? You might need a diaper for the trucks. In some areas, concrete trucks have to wear diapers. Or, you could pump the slop into concrete trucks.
How do you like that TL12 vs a Cat 299D? Is the ride much rougher be a ridged undercarriage? I own a Cat 279D, although I do like the machine, I don't think it's the best thing in the world. I hate how the dirt and debris seem to way too easily get thrown under the cab by the tracks in short amount of time. It's a pain in the ass to clean. Bad design on that part.
There is a kit you can get for the machine that helps seal up the gap between the cab and the machine chassis. They usually come on the machines ordered for forestry work but they will bolt right up to your 279 also. They do help
Audio in the cab dropped extremely low, but yet still a decent mix of natural sound and voice, turned the volume up to hear. FYI first cab shot only. Jim
Been watching several years and I have concluded that Chris' OCD tendencies seperate him from most other operators. Chris wish you where closer to my farm(central most northern) North Carolina. Enjoy watching your work. Thanks
Heyy I love the videos I know I keep asking but what bed do you have on your truck I really like it and would love one for my f450 work truck. Keep up the awesome videos!!
Thanks for the great video mate ,does your uncle John price all of your jobs ,or do you share and work together pricing the big jobs ,Cheers from down under.
Chris, Try using your small mats to make a lift for the skid steer to drive up on the dumping of the truck. I used this for years dumping into 40 cu.yds dumpster with a wheel loaded.
David Mark Carter Sr. Didn’t work. No material onsite to build ramp to get on them. And machine would hop everywhere on top of them with bucket in the air
Well, an other skidsteer would have made it faster, BUT ther will also come rents for the machine and pay for another operator. So question is if it's worth it. As mutch you can do by your self the more you can earn.
Depending on if it would have been allowed, I would have build a kinde of a ramp for the skidsteer to get 3- 4 - 5 feet higer loading the trucks. You have to reetablish the working area anyway.
Always enjoy pond videos.
Well, for that matter, all the other ones too!
Thanks.
I love that skid steer, it has to be my all time favourite.

I love all your videos Chris and hope some larger projects are coming soon! I hope you and the family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Brings back memories of the big lake dredging project.
moving that many yards with the skid steer wears a guy out. BTDT
A couple of great videos coming from this project so far bro.
Well it’s big FUCK IT Thursday. Come on everyone y’all know it sounded like that 😂😂😂
Stuff flows and sounds like concrete.

Moving mud like this we figure we need one skid per 50' of travel to keep up with our 220.....they should have just let you drain the whole pond.
Skid steer getting a work out today !
Stay safe
Dang that bucket Awesome 👍 definitely flip her over if not careful!
Lots of sand Chris. You do what it takes to get the job done.
I like big buckets and I cannot lie
Mrs. Elite Earthworks oh I know you do 😎
These other operators can't deny
Now I see why you grease the equipment every other day.lol that mud and sand has to play heck with all the moving parts.
That skid sounds maxed out
Could use two skid steer with as much of terms jobs as you get
That bucket looks like it came off a backhoe lol

This looks like the sort of job where a temporary trackway should be laid so that you can load straight into the lorries.
Is this one of your ponds you do regular maintenance on ? A whole lot of handling of the material . Good job Mr Volvo
Looks like you need a tipper bucket to reach over the dump trucks better

@@sterny4720 that's awesome, thanks. I was starting to make one but it's still sitting in my shop un finished.
I would have built a pad by the road to where he could reach the rest of the truck. It sucks dumping in a truck when you can't see what you are doing.
I wish I could get atleast 20 loads of that in my back yard
What do the truck drivers do while waiting for their trucks to be loaded? Go to Myrtle Beach for a week?
Audio in the cab dropped extremely low, but yet still a decent mix of natural sound and voice, turned the volume up to hear. FYI first cab shot only. Jim
wow talk about mud.heavy stuff when wet . nice vid
Hey Chris, just wondering why you didn't use your skip loader/backhoe to bucket all that to the truck ? Love your videos bro !
I enjoy your videos Keep up the hard work
Been watching several years and I have concluded that Chris' OCD tendencies seperate him from most other operators. Chris wish you where closer to my farm(central most northern) North Carolina. Enjoy watching your work. Thanks
Greensboro area?
Hey how long does it take to load a truck?
A bit of a slow operation Chris, it must be done like this......👌👍😊
Go to some farm auctions see if you cant land some worm screw conveyors cheap get old ones they were over built
Chris your audio is low in the cab.
Let's get it done!
No, i can not pump that water. Because then its not muddy and i see what i do.
I often wonder when you are digging or dredging ponds if you ever unearth any "interesting" items or finds???
why not lay mud mat beside truck so skidder comes higher to easy load on truck, and do you not have 2nd skidder so load with 2 skidders is faster
That's same thing I was thinking, have one loading truck while the other one is getting a bucket full, he's got a reason I am sure,
Own 1 skid. And can’t pile any material by the road for loading later
Thanks like the video Lake Mud job .
Tim's doing good.
I hope you paid by the hour, for all machines.
Sounds like your moving wet concrete when ur pushing that burm up
Heyy I love the videos I know I keep asking but what bed do you have on your truck I really like it and would love one for my f450 work truck. Keep up the awesome videos!!
It's a alumiline bed. I've not been happy with it it has not held up well. Leaks and the welds crack over time
Would probably cost a lot to rent a 986 or equivalently sized loader.
Humor: whats the name of that loader, take a sucky?? sounds like that japanese shuffle when you have to relieve yourself, igowatakashita, lol
Why not use a loader or two
Should get a 953 track loader
Have you ever rented a L90 or thought about one for a job like that?
Love takeuchis. The TB2150 is gorgeous.
Thanks for the great video mate ,does your uncle John price all of your jobs ,or do you share and work together pricing the big jobs ,Cheers from down under.
Great video. Im sorry but i have to ask 1 what do you do with the sand and 2.have you ever find turtle eggs i no it sounds dumb that for sharing
Did you say you were running 3 trucks.....and 1 skidloader to fill them? Why didn't you rent another skidloader? Doesn't seem too efficient.
My dude is wearing a nats shirt so he has GREAT taste in baseball teams... GO NATS FIGHT FINISHED WORLD SERIES CHAMPS!!!!!!
Grndhg 83 don’t like them at all. Uncle is an athletic trainer for them so he gave us a bunch of free stuff last Xmas
Chris,

David Mark Carter Sr. Didn’t work. No material onsite to build ramp to get on them. And machine would hop everywhere on top of them with bucket in the air
I sure could use sand on my little farm!
Hey Chris lately your audio in the cab sounds real low.... check your mike its happened in a few videos...
I’m sure you hear it when you edit... but the machine sound drowns our your comments when you are talking.
Q: Do you have to clean the road where the truck gets loaded with that Mud
Playing in the mud again
how come you dont use a long reach excavator for these projects?
So close to 250000
At the 2:55 mark. Wish you would have timed his round trip. Would you have considered renting another bobcat for a day to assist?
Well, an other skidsteer would have made it faster, BUT ther will also come rents for the machine and pay for another operator. So question is if it's worth it.
As mutch you can do by your self the more you can earn.
Bet the cycle time was driving you nuts.Another. skid steer probably would have helped but work with what ya got ..
Goed bezig 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🏗🏗🏗🏗
Watching that skid seer going about really makes me wonder why I haven't sold mine and got one with tracks yet
Sounds up and down.when i watched video.barely heard you ..
When and where do we know who won the giveaway?
when I hit 250 I will make a video, Honestly Im still reading emails
@@letsdig18 ok. I was just wondering. Keep up the great work.
Did you ever get that pond filled in, in that farmers field ?
Where did all the sand come from?.
So Chris does Timmy like the Washington Nationals or does he just like who wins the World Series?
Jim Bailey my uncle is an athletic trainer for them and gave us a bunch of their they have extra at the end of the year.
@@timtuoni3544 that's cool they are my home town team
But I dearly want to hear what you have to say and why ?
Why u move med for?
Chris
How hard is that sloppy mud on the under carriage? 🤔
Depending on if it would have been allowed, I would have build a kinde of a ramp for the skidsteer to get 3- 4 - 5 feet higer loading the trucks.
You have to reetablish the working area anyway.
oz1vlh no material onsite and tried mats which didn’t work
Why they don't have stopped the fountain? 🤔🤔
Probably someone thinks they need the oxygen to keep the fish alive as the pond is so much smaller they have less surface area/ disolved oxygen
@@fishtrucksdirt8041 I thought the same thing, but I wasn't sure there were any fish
@@RickyCervo pond owners always "hope" there are lol
Just a thought.. what about putting mats down for the skid steer at the trucks to raise it up another 6-8 inches for dumping into the trucks?
Oldyellor * didn’t work. Tried. Not material to build ramp to get on mats and machine would hop everywhere with bucket up on mats
@@timtuoni3544 you should have copied and pasted this reply as many times as you had to use it.
How many bullfrogs were harmed in the making of this video?
None!! They all jumped out hung out on the bank til he was done and waited for their new home then jumped back in. Duh
@@whobee8868 Shucks! I was hoping all of them. I don't like bullfrogs!
I kinda agree 2 skidsteers would be better?? What is your opinion Chris.
damned near need a concrete pumper
When’s the prize video ??
when I hit 250
You shoulda laid out some of those mats for the little Takiuchi to climb up on when she takes a dump in the truck.
Papaw we did. It didn’t work
I like big buc.....kets and I cannot lie.
What ? CANT HEAR YOU
You should have built him a ramp so its easier for Timmy.
John M. Evangelis tried with mats. Failed no decent material for a ramp onsite and machine would hop everywhere with the loader arms up all the way
Meuud.
Tim will sleep good tonight
why didn't you use a small dump truck to move that mud rather than that small skid steer? Seems like a lot of back and forth with a tea cup.
Чего на машину сразу не грузите ?
would of renting a big wheel loader of been a benefit or would it of gotten stuck
mrtowmonster stuck. Couldn’t turn around also. The path was destroyed in about half a truck load Loader would of been buried faster
I wonder if making a ramp out of mats for skid loader to load trucks out of might not have worked.
Mud on mats get SLIIIICK. It can hold you up but there is zero traction.
@@fishtrucksdirt8041 I get that, plenty of dry sand to sprinkle
Do's Chris have a Facebook page
What the hell is "Do's"?
would a backhoe have been any help?
Think your would have been better off building a road back to the pond
When do give away winners get announced
19th>>>>LOL
So guess who got the short straw.
Can you teach him to fill the skids bucket to be full. I use one all the time. He can do better then that.
It won't curl the bucket back if it's slam full
