A beauty. They sure are nice bikes too. I have a red 1997 with 47,000 miles on it now. These engines will go a lot of miles. It is very smooth and handles well. They are almost maintenance free as they have hydraulic lifters so no valve adjustments needed.
I am seriously considering buying one for sale in the other end of my coutry. Everyone speaks well of them and being a small guy I really like this bike over a goldwing or something bigger... And I kinda dig the 80ies futuristic look and built in saddlebags/trunk. Just what I need for vacation trips.... but I am curious about one thing I haven't seen mentioned anywhere... -Can you use the front side wings on the body as foreward footrests to strech your legs a bit on long rides? -It seems like a perfect fit, but it is hard to tell in videos... :) -Thanx in advance, and sorry for asking a random stranger! :D
This is hands down the most gorgeous bike I've ever seen because I know the features of her like shaft drive, self adjusting valves, the perfect bike for the non mechanic.
Great bikes I have a 1989 it came in white. Rides smooth 12, 567 miles on mine. Warning the plastic fairings/ body panels are hard to find but this is a awesome bike to ride. Wish honda would make these again.
i disagree with the strong crosswind comment.. i've ridden my 1990 across the tacoma narrows bridge in some very strong crosswinds and the bike took it no problem, probably due to the aerodynamics of the bike. when you ride it in the rain, as long as you keep moving above 30mph or so, you're in a bubble due to the design of the fairing and windshield and you stay totally dry.
Very nice, l also have a 1989 in white. A great bike, and often use it for shopping. But can also do all day rides with the big seat. But not my main ride.
pc800 runs very quit, very smooth & the rear is fun too use /BUT when you need do any maintenance it's the most poorly assembled /constructed m/c you can get. takes a great deal of time & money to keep running .i know because i own a 1989 pc8oo ( i've repaired m/c's since 1950's)
I am a re-entry rider as of 2024 since 1996, so I'm WAY out of touch. I'm 55 now, ride a Honda Elite 250 scooter, and a Vulcan 1500 Classic and this is right in the middle. It's PERFECTION on two wheels. WAIT... 6,800 miles ? It's brand new.
Someone is selling one of these about 10 minutes away from me if I had the money I'd buy it I always buy weird big bikes and ride them out and sell before winter. The guy wants $1,200 and it's a white one looks dusty as crap in the picture but been in a garage in a million dollar house
@@flashbodie1 I bought it from original owner who took superb care of the bike. Before selling it to me, he put new everything on it. Battery, brake pads, clutch disk pad, tires, coolant, oil and gear grease. Nobody puts that much money into a dying bike. He loved that bike and wanted the next owner to love it too. The only reason he sold it is because he doesn't ride it anymore because he bought a brand new 1200cc BMW. I bought it because I didn't want to be without a bike last Summer because my bike (an Aprilia) needed a part and I was told it would take three months to get the part from Italy. This 1989 Honda Pacific Coast 800 starts and runs like a brand new bike. Has 65,000 miles. It almost looks like a brand new bike too.
Agreed! I had one and it was a B-I-T-C-H. Could have been much better with an 1100cc V-Twin engine from the Shadow. It was a nice riding bike, otherwise.
That's the biggest scooter I've ever seen! It has to be at least a 200cc! I bet you even have to have a license to drive one that big. No DWI mobile here! Lol!
And incredibly smooth, as in engine vibration free. It is the smoothest bike I have ever owned. I also love the incredible quietness of the bike.

Only put the 1800 v twin engine in it for power
Very Nice!!! I seen one of these when I was at WingDing 40. Would love to have one some Day. Thanks for Sharing.
I had one of these for a while. Beautiful machine, but hell to ride in a strong crosswind.
I owned a 1994 and just loved it!

After 25 years if it doesn't have rock chips it has never been ridden. One beautiful machine
❤❤❤
Nothing else sounds like a Honda engine... Smooth
What a cool bike.i remember seeing these reviewed on top gear donkeys years ago.id like one

An 1100 version of this with 90 hp would have been a legend.
I do wish these were fuel injected. I love how whisper quiet they are. Great bike!

Sweet bike.
Are you/have you sold this bike?
it is an amazing bike...they don't make them like that anymore. after 60miles of riding in heavy rain I was hardly wet.

How much for the ROLEX
Is these bike manual?
Pretty sure they are, they're basically a honda shadow 800 underneath.
It's not an automatic
They come with a 5 speed manual.
..only flaw is accessing the battery..you need to remove about 6 body panels..
