This was great! I wouldn't have the patience for 6 prebuff gambits, but I was impressed by the fights you did without them. When I get back to Warden, I'll try ranged gambits first, and less AoE. Wardens should be on the yellow row of our Tier List according to this vid.
Think of the poor raiders with a Warden tank who need to wait for that before every pull! Normally I think that classes have too many skills already but Wardens - Blue spec at least - need a 1-button skill to apply the buff effects from those 6 Gambits. If it could only be used outside of combat (like Battle Preparation) it wouldn't affect the progress of any battle, it would just make the pre-battle prep less of a chore.
@@JohnMHammer warden is one of my favorite classes, but I sadly don't tank on it anymore because of that. I dont mind re-buffing in combat, but man does it suck to spend a minute before every pull spamming 6 buffs lol.
Please note that I purposely did not use any buffing consumables nor any potions or skills with significant cooldowns such as Never Surrender because the point was to show the viability of the class and spec for max difficulty. The closest thing to a skill with a significant cooldown I used was Ambush and I purposely didn't use that on about half the example combats. With buffing consumables and offensive skills with cooldowns, all of these battles would have been shorter/easier. With potions and defensive skills with cooldowns (such as anything related to Advanced Techniques but especially Never Surrender) I almost certainly would have avoided that one defeat and wouldn't have been sweating some of the other battles as much.
