I’m not saying it wasn’t beautifully filmed - it was (cinematographer) Gordon Willis, shot in black in white - and the people were good. But the writing was too preachy, too self-righteous. @@goddessglow6996 @Arken9 there's a difference between accusing somebody of something and calling that person a convict of something. You wanna check the records of the police investigation into the Woody Allen case, go ahead, he was acquitted based on the investigation made back then, and there were two such investigations made against him with extreme diligence, of which he came out completely clean. I'm not talking bullshit about something I believe in and stuff, I'm talking this after going through various legitimate sources regarding the incident.
Here are few of the sources that'll give you a broader perspective of different viewpoints in the case. But amidst all this when nothing is proven it's always better to acknowledge the person as accused and not guilty. He was accused once 21 years ago, he came out clean proving his innocence and now those accusations have resurfaced again but that still won't make him "guilty".

All have a message, great dialogue and cinematography

I have to say that when I was a little kid I first saw TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN and two things hit me. First was the beautiful JANET MARGOLIN and 2nd was the joke where Woody's character, VIRGIL, was 'making a meager living by selling meagers', at which point there he was, Virgil, selling gift wrapped boxes of meagers on the street. I turned around to my parents and asked them what meagers were. I believe they may still be laughing today, at their poor, innocent boy's question. It was a golden moment seeing my parents laughing non-stop.
