Think I'm going to check out those axles brother. Seems like they held up really well with those big tires and after watching those flips and seeing the Capra slam down right on the side of the wheels, man I just knew the axles were broken! Great video Joe !

Yeah, my WB driveshafts were squeaking like crazy. Finally realized it was those, have been wiping them , WD40ing them, wiping again and dry lubing after every 3-4 runs that involve water, which many of them do. Want to change up, but figured until I put in the brushless system I want into my Spawn, no need to change, they work great, it's everything else Im needing to replace/upgrade. I really wanta Capra, but have been hearing the TRX-4 is the better crawler, stock. So many RCs, so little funds. 🤣
I am just finishing my 1st Capra (electronics returns), and I already am wanting to build a Capra bouncer. I was imagining getting the new Straight axle kit, and then the SCXII 2 Speed Skid Plate & Transmission. What pinion to use will have to be hashed out for a decent ratio. Then for power train going with the XErun AXE FOC R2 2100KV. Then figure out a Mod to change the rear lower links to a trailing arm arrangement and a Swaybar.
Probably get a RYFT 1st, but I would really like to build a Capra Bouncer also. Time to watch how you set yours up ! THX
I have to go and Find your Capra Bouncer Build, when I imagined my Bouncer I thought maybe it was an original Idea, but like any really good idea it will have it's time, when it's time.
Yeah I’m on the ryft waiting list but they just keep backing our deliveries up. Oh well

Those tires are impressive but dang 90usd just for the tires.
Did you gear anything down? Pinion? I have the overdrive gears in front running the PROLINE Hyrax 2.2" G8 Truck Tire and burnt up 2 motors.. I now have a holmes going in for a 3rd time.
The Treal trans case allows the easy fitting of a 9t pinion. It has 43/13 gears in the axles so it’s as low as possible. The gearing is wrong of course but the ROC seems to be ok with it. It’s not much of a crawler with the current setup.

No hate at all pal, the vids are great like always!! For how huge those tires are they don't PREFORM to well. And top reason I dont like them is Ya know they are stressing gears but then again stuff is getting way heavier duty built, but there justa lil to big lol

Any chance these would fit on the udr? They’re definitely bigger and I’m not sure what rims you’d use but I think they’d look good if it fit.
Even if they did fit, they wouldn’t handle the speed.
You need to make a Rock bouncer hill that's like 12 tall in your backyard
I'm considering getting a tractor, if I get a tractor that will happen as I would then be able to manage the dirt.

@@ExocagedRC see, I've no tractor, nor a 12' hill, but that what I did build I dug a hole and put all the dirt behind the hole to create a hill, added rocks. But, I know to get the perfect one done will require plenty of extra fill /rocks for a firm hill.
I think my rr10 kit needs these !! I saw creep6 didn’t have the milestar Patagonia on the front in a recent video.. Did you have a problem recently with that tire? It is also on my “ to purchase” list.
I was doing reverse donuts with it and one of them caught the steering knuckle and ripped at the bead. I need to get new ones or just change them all out to something else. The patagonias are a good tire for sure
What foam size do you recommend for those tires?

Real question. I'm turning 50 this year. Been way into the WPL 1/16 Scale size rc. I know not a real crawler but I really like the size and with how much time I have they are perfect for my backyard. So the question. I have been given the green light to build a 1/10th scale real crawler for my 50th birthday gift. This is a one and done thing. I only get the one. The capri , super light and the axial 10.3 are the 3 on my list. Toss cost out the window. Which one if you could only do one would you do with limited area, time to crawl and anyone to help build. My RC experience is mostly with helicopters. 250 size to 700 . All electric. It's the ground radio set up that's a bit different not difficult. Thank you for you time. And to all subscribers please feel free to chime in.
I really like them all and if I could I'd have all the crawlers. But at least have the three.

My most favourite kit build with all the sizzle is my Vanquish vs410pro, just absolutely ready to go, NO upgrades needed. Fantastic build and quality. Custom build stuff is awesome but didn't sound like you have the time.
RTR... its a can't go wrong with all the usual suspects ie. Axial Gladiator, Traxxas Trx4, Element Enduro

Take a look at both the vs410pro and ultra, portal axles is main differences. Both are beautiful Currie f9 aluminium axles.. The kit just builds so well...
