Greetings from the US! I remember being pretty shocked when Trevor showed up on the Daily Show. I was like "why are they hiring this random guy from another country?" Now I understand what a gift John Stewart was giving us. Trevor is so wise and humble and we are blessed to have been able to watch him so often for 8 years. I would also be proud if Trevor was from our country! I can't wait to see what Trevor will do next!

The admiration I have for Trevor is indescribable.
Listening to this conversation now, it actually became clear just how challenging taking over the daily show must have been/felt for Trevor. I always looked at it/him from the perspective of the supportive fellow South African that I never had to assume perhaps some of the hostility that Americans and whoever else may have felt. He spent 8 year proving himself and making the world fall as inlove with him as we South Africans are and I really think he is so strong and brave for committing to the work, himself and his team.

Im from new york area and i saw trevor all the time on the streets and subway and ive said yhis before since leaving the show he looks so happy and relaxed not strssed so leaving the show was the right move for him
