Gday Brad, enjoying the vids mate. I use the push up ratchets and yes it’s a pain when the hook and keeper come apart and you have to undo it all to fix it. Load Restraint Systems make a ratchet where the spindle spins freely, as soon as there’s no tension the strap can be pulled through easily you don’t have to undo the whole strap you just allow enough strap to pull through to reattached the hook then ratchet back up. It’s brilliant! They’re called the spinner range and there’s a store in Rocklea. 😊👍
Very well done great production and great content a fantastic 2nd half.. The snooze spot for Boondall very popular for trucks,, Wetlands at night keep out,, The word out their is its not a good spot to drop your keys on the ground if you are a bloke... unless you into that stuff 😁😂🤣😇 LOL.. Golden Circle cannery you made me smile, that smell yep its special.... Toss up between the cannery and the abattoir at Dinmore stinky stinky. Old days when their was a store on site with 2nds we entered from Earnshaw Rd,, now its the new estate guardhouse rd..
lol that was strange, had an interview in that big building just past the petrol station there in Banyo the other week. Wasn't successful. But have a medical tomorrow for an agi truck, so hopefully i get that lol. Cheers for another good vid 👌
Hi Bud love your channel great content i am in Brisbane i am a truck driver my self last 30 plus years i know what you are dealing with driving in Qld its a complete shit fight from time to time keep on Trucking and the content stay safe, cheers kurt
Hi Brad enjoyed part 2 of your video. I have only used the the pull up straps that you are using. I have never had any problems with them. With the dotted lines on the straps I was told that they are the wear stripes. When they fray to more than the second line you should look at replacing them. If that’s true or not. I was told that when I was in vehicle recovery.
Yeah right I didn't think of that Ken that's not a bad idea and I have found the ones I used in this video tend to loosen off to easy but might be the way I do them too lol
What I have done is feed it from the top then feed it back through between the roll and the release clip. I have never had them come loose that way. I saw how you feed it through the roll once then done it up. That way I had the same problem but once I fed it back through never had them come loose. Hope you get what I mean. 😊😊😊😊
Turn ur straps over so the hook is inside, stops them from un-hooking b4 u do them up,also stops the hooķ digging into ur gaurds going in/out of driveways
Ha ha don’t know about the straps, it says 2500kg and they need to be thrown away if there’s a 5mm cut. As for the editing mate I don’t think you need a course. No one’s expecting Michael bay levels of production and honestly even the professionals on UA-cam still don’t get it right. Your doing fine and it’s a entertaining product, keep up the great work
Cheers mate appreciate it 👍, it did get grease before I left for the trip but unfortunately the dirt road had it covered in dust by the time I got to the b trailer agian and of course I took the grease out of the truck before this trip and forgot to put it back in lol
Thanks
Thank you Ken
Your welcome Brad

Cheers mate I appreciate it and I wish it could be Michael Bay quality lol
We have changed to the pull down ratchets on carting hay down here in south west Victoria 👍
I do prefer that type personally, I think you get more tension and I also found the don't tend to loosen of as easily
@@AverageAussieTrucker ,💯 buddy I agree with you
Enjoying your video's Brad rachets doesn't really worry me that old A trailer needs a bit of grease or is it an ezy slide.
Cheers mate appreciate it 👍, it did get grease before I left for the trip but unfortunately the dirt road had it covered in dust by the time I got to the b trailer agian and of course I took the grease out of the truck before this trip and forgot to put it back in lol
Nudge turn off if you stay on it you would’ve turned left to the airport
Yeah that's it 👍
