Do you think bass is easier than stratocaster ?

The whole guitar vs. Bass competition has always confused me. They’re each extremely difficult in their own right. I wouldn’t say one is easier than the other. Sometimes bass can be more difficult depending on the melodies you’re creating with runs, etc… while the guitar may just be playing some simple lush chords. It flips back and forth a lot
