For real, it’s so annoying how the majority of Hydro is locked behind a paywall! Even if 5* is easier to obtain in theory, the 4* are universally available all year round and the fact only _3_ of them are Hydro is so unbalanced.
Surprised we don't have a hydro claymore yet with the amount of hydro characters we have

I’m very sick of it. Pyro and Cryo have a plethora of 4*, both support and DPS. It’s high time they make Hydro more accessible to those who can’t, for any reason, pull in every single limited Hydro banner.

They will probably include some sort of benefit for it in Natlan. Can’t imagine it’s just a couple random characters with a mechanic to force a specific rotation and risk 🤷♂️ there will surely be more coming with this mechanic and it will impact us more in natlan
I was really intending to skip her as a 5-star, but knowing that she has Bond of Life in her Kit makes it hard to skip. I want Arlecchino to have a good team.

I know hydro is Hoyo's favorite element.....but I really hoped Sigewinnie was a 4 star. She'd be easier to get so I could slap her in a team with my Wriothesley but I guess that will remain a dream for now
Ya but do you really want another 4 star.. you really need to push them to c6 to keep up and a c0 or c1 5 star is usually better. I feel like if the character has some sort of team value I need id rather them be a 5 star.

I wish Dahlia and Mummy girl were released in 4.x. There’s no confirmation of any characters for 4.8, and there is precedent for the x.8 version to add no new characters. I hope they release in Natlan or something.

If this turns out true then I already knew she’d be a 5 star, not due to her design but because hoyo has a massive issue with making hydro characters mainly 5 stars.

The bond of life mechanic is only exclusive to fontaine. I can see why they're doing this because of the new set that's coming out in 4.6 with Arlecchino. Im pretty excited about this new mechanic, ngl! 😅

What makes you say it’s exclusive to Fontaine. I was sorta sitting on a theory that the natlan region and characters were going to somehow play into this mechanic and make it more beneficial in some way. Maybe a few Natlan characters that assist or buff bonds idk. Just figured it looked like a trend rather than dumping a new mechanic for the last couple characters 🤷♂️

Just thought that since sigewinne and arlecchino were from fontaine, they'd probably release future characters during Natlans' or any other possible regions we already unlocked to future fontanian characters. But yeah, you're possibly right about Natlan characters being related to the bol mechanic. 😅
It's funny I always ran a healer either being "Barbara or QiQi" and didn't run a shield till long into Inazuma always thought they was pretty useless with Diona being the most worthless of them. Now I am lazy and don't dodge and pretty sure I'm a worst at the game then when I started because of shields.
I think BOL is restricted to Fontaine. Who knows what new mechanics would show up in the last regions?
They're releasing the BoL artifact so that means there are more BoL characters to come- ngl I'm still confused about how that works xD waiting for arlecchino to release so someone can explain it with gameplay footage

@@StillQiqiless No, the BoL doesn't make your character get 1 shot, it just block your healing until you clear it
Okay let's say you have a character with 10000 hp, and you get a 10% BoL (therefore worth 1000 hp). Let's also say you have a healer who heals 2000 hp per thing, the BoL will sorta eat 1000 out of the 2000 healing, meaning it'd heal 1000 hp instead. With the fatigue operatives it just sorts slows your hp recovery but with arlecchino it's a risk reward since she can only be healed by her own burst. If atle had 80% bond of life at like 20000 hp she'd need to heal 16000 hp just to clear the BoL, and then heal the hp you had lost in the fight. So risk-reward playstyle. Just to clarify too, the percentage of BoL is your max hp, not current hp.
@@toxin2366 Well yes it might look like risk of dying but for Arlecchino, the more bond of life she has the more healing bonus she receives. In the live stream you can see she healed herself back about 90% of her Max HP when she had 20% of her HP left and 40% of Bond of Life. So her healing scales 150% bond of life and 150% ATK

Most likely not, BoL would make her even more risky, and depending how good the hp is it either wouldn't clear the BoL or shed get fully healed even after clearing the BoL.

Yes, just like Baizhu. First a skip for most of the players, then meta-defining. Bond of Life mechanics will be a huge thing throughout Version 5.
BoL is ok but it wont be something like shift meta at all or that will be unfair or dozens of other chars. They really have an issue with the 4* hydro

WUWA is an easy pass for me. Been watching it for a long time and I’m disappointed in how time intensive the game is. Long long fights, easy to die, I like the idea of a little more challenge here and there but I don’t like games I need to devote 6 hours a night to in order to be ok at and progress. I did that with WoW back in the day and never again.
Honestly now I have no idea what makes a character a 5*. Till this point I thought it was their relevance to the story and I wholeheartedly believed that both Chlorinde and Sigewinne would be 4* since their appearance in the archon quest was, well, minimal? But then I remember that characters like Eula or Baizhu exist and now I'm completely lost
Relevance to the story was never a requirement to be a 5★, Hutao, Ayato, Chiori, Itto, are all characters with zero appearances in the main story but that didn't stop them from being 5★, the opposite is also true, Ningguang is proof of that.
How was Chlorinde and Sigewinne’s appearance ‘minimal’? They were literally there in so many scenes.

I feel that this game really don't give a fk to their base...im playing HSR now, and yes...thet are so much better with the rewards, and the design, skills of the characters are so creative, meanwhile Genshin gives us more of the same...they don't do anything new, for who reach the highest lvl...its done. I'm logging in every day just to get my primos, but even this is getting boring
