I knew contract staffs have different facilities then permanent staff but hope CTA will help little in someway if can't in big as he had served 27 dame years... This is the only reason retaining the staffs in Tibetan community is highly critical. We as community must at least have sense of thankful for their services during their prime of youth. Therefore, we must contribute our little ways. Folks please all come together. If this the situation of Tibetan teacher. Then soon we will not get teachers. So come together for rescue.

Teacher is the main person on the human society, who teaches everything what they knows. today I'm feeling so sad, When I watched this video. I think Tibetan administration should do something for that kind of great person who spends and contributed their whole life for teaching others.
I am saddened to see my teacher ( cst Poanta) go through this after all these years of service educating our community. I request all his student to help in every small way we can please.
This is the reality of Tibetan teachers and their unspoken issues. Because everyone's job is dear to them. So no one will dare to speak up and this results in teacher coming to Tea stall. Time to improve the teachers welfare. What can we expect from the students when the teachers are in such a pity situation. I am sorry to all the teachers. I am not saying anything bad about you. Salary of CST school sweeper was higher than those of our schools teachers. What is going wrong with our schools. We need to reform and review the present situation of teachers. My comments is intended for positive changes and not to hurt anyone's sentiment. We need to make changes where and when required, to make things better. Teachers in tibetan community has very less payment and after retired they got small amount of pension. This pension does not help them much. Since they have family to look after. I wish the salary of teachers should increase so that they could live happily after retired .
Yes. This is truth that no tibetan teachers dares to speak up because of being looked bad by colleague and peers. In practical and rational world, minimal salarry and increased expenditure, it is difficult to have neither or nor saving for old ages, emergency medical expenses, children education or taking care of old parents. Any one of these one. Help Tibetan teachers restore their respect, otherwise, we will soon witness more teachers with tea stall.

Monasteries are good for nothing than making money by putting heavy price tag on shabten and building expensive gonpa unnecessary
