I really hope that JYP has something great in store for Somi, we all know how this girl wants to debut, she did her best in Sixteen that almost all of us thought she would debut as one of the member of Twice, but she didn’t made it even though she’s basically always in the major group, and her faith showed us why she didn’t made it in Twice, it’s because she was destined to join another survival show which is Produce 101, and she’s also destined to meet 100 more girls that she shares her dream with and lastly, she’s destined to be the center of this group called I.O.I and be close to 10 more girls outside of her entertainment, and yeah, they became successful, they didn’t become that “just one of those” girl groups, because they literally slaaaaaayed! They gain a lot of endorsements, TV appearances and own variety shows. They had the chance to show they own uniqueness and charms on every show that they went to. The only negative side about that is that, it’s only temporary; the group was bound to disband since day one. After their last concert, they all went to their respective entertainments and do their own business, Somi got casted in Unnies, and again that group was only temporary, and I literally choke up and was about to cry when Somi said “Everything I do is temporary”, like I suddenly want to add her in Twice, but I know JYP won’t do that, because if he does that then Somi will be bombarded with some Once, and basically she will just get a lot of hate from Thrice, since Thrice hates Twice, then what more if they will found a way to hate them more, then who will be the poor victim? - Our little Somi ;;;; No one knows what is JYP’s plan for Somi, but I hope that she’ll put Somi in a group, because I don’t know if it’s just me, but I think Somi will shine the best if she’s in a group. Unlike for Chungha (my ultimate girl crush until now), I personally think she really suits the solo artist image, like you know, I think she won’t shine and won’t be able to showcase her talent well if she’s in a group, because we all know that when you’re in a group you have to be on the same level, I mean same level of energy when dancing, your voice will be coached accordingly on how you should sing when you’re singing with the other members, but if you’re a solo artist, you can basically dance the hell out of it, and rooooooooock! You can sing without changing your voice. I suddenly remember A Pink’s Hush era, I was so shocked with Eunji’s voice there, I mean that is not so her, obviously she was told to do that singing voice to blend with the other girls’ voice and for the concept as well. But listen to Eunji’s solo songs, her voice is really fantastic! I like her second album more than the first one, though the first one is good, the second one is great! Like her voice in The Spring is just so mesmerizing❤ But anyway, going back to Somi, I just hope that someday, she will be doing something that is not temporary, because she is a very talented and gorgeous lady!❤ SOMI FIGHTING!❤
