I love these video's, nice job. A couple things that would make it even better. Could you insert diagrams throughout the video explaining things like cover on the overhead conductor (the general public doesn't know how we as lineman can do this work without being electrocuted). Maybe explain about wearing rubber gloves, did the crew get locates on possible underground utilities, why install a new pole at all, etc. Again, great video's and thanks for the work in putting these together.

Can you do a video on how to set a laminated wood pole if possible and also a pole enforcer installation.

Anybody know where I can find a listing of the old school framing terms? i.e. C8, A2, C3.

    just spread a phase.
allot more room and reduces the risk of incidental contact.

I am not here to criticize and I know there are many different ways to do linework but the way that pole was stood up made me cringe. I understand the tree and the rode being a factor in truck placement but I saw a few options to where that pole could have been picked up between the phases straight into the head of the digger. The less you have to roll the pole around while in between phases the better off your men will be. I am glad to see the plumb bob being used tho... believe it or not I work at a place where I’m one of a few to use one.

When I set a pole I spot it with the head in the span and butt towards the butt. And spot pick point next to the hole. So the operator just has to cable up guys guide head around and close the claws. Maybe a little swing and boom down to the hole. Less moves for the operator

Why do you call it a digger? It's an auger.

It's a reference to the truck which is called a digger/derrick, (digger for short) by linehands. The auger is in my experience always called an auger

That fool cut the branch right in the middle. That is not an appropriate cut. Hate how utility companies have no regard for personal property-- they just barge in and do whatever suits them.
