Living the dream! 👍🏽
it is challenging living off grid sometimes ands yes, it's a pain if you just need one part from time to time. you learn to think outside of the box to get it to work. the tile work looks great. thanks for the update and please have a great week
Thank you.
You can never have enough solar lights great job man
Thank you.
Great info I am making a quick trip to my property so I can pick up quad runner from shop (it’s under warranty)and returning to my property coming thru flagstaff from the north a way I haven’t been yet.
If I would’ve watched us a little bit sooner I might’ve known that you were going to be back in Nov , I might have held up and been able to give you a hand moving the stove and got to stay longer on my property! Man I know first hand how much work you and your kids did on that driveway. I made sure when I bought my place it has not too much/many rocks, I did have a lot of older/used wood and crap from squatters/campers but figured it will be easier when I get my new ATV/UTV trailer(Bannon 1600lb rated )finished & put together and greased up( I broke a zirc fitting on one of the wheels )as you said off-grid and out of town sure make slow work! My elevation 5700’
No problem. I'll figure out some way to get the stove up there without destroying my hard work.
All that rock sounds like my property. Mostly rock except for an underground "canyon" that's filled with 6 feet of silt. Luckily, rock helps with stability for building.
Yes I ordered me one of them 48 quart new air fridge raider freezers and it was supposed to be there before I left but it wasn’t but I just got notice from FedEx that it will be delivered by the third
That's awesome. I think you will like it.
Enjoyed watching the Video
Thank you.
Quick question. Why you not full time on the property? You have the setup.
The long answer would require us to sip drinks around a camp fire, which I am happy to do any chance I get. The short answer is that I have a decent career with great benefits. But I can't retire for another 7 years and 2 months to be exact. Now, I have made some investments over the years and if they come through like I believe they will, I will happily leave my career and begin my journey as a full time homesteader.
Loved this video! Just curious what 6v batteries are you using and are they all the same Amp Hours?
Energizer and Duracell GC2 batteries. They are similar when it comes to amp hours.
@@AZOFFGRID thanks, Im using the same at 215 amp hours but can't find any others, only the 230 amp hours. Im worried about mixing the two. Just curious of your thoughts.
@@TheRealWestMagazine it's not ideal to mix and match, but when on a budget like I was, it's an acceptable risk.

Thanks for the tour of your property. Your land was my inspiration and my model when buying my Arizona property last summer. I'm grateful.
That's awesome. I'm glad I could help.
@@AZOFFGRID I sent you a link to the land I bought that reminded me of yours...
