Lee I talked with a few of the Vandoit folks this past weekend in Bentonville AR at VOX#11 (Vandoit Owners Xperience) and apparently there has been no solution or fix released by Ford yet. Ironically I drove to the event with a friend of mine who has the Transit Trail and as we turned onto the property where the event was occuring, we braked and hit a slight rise as we turned in and we heard the rubbing of the wheel well liner. After seeing the Transit Trail and a Ford Cargo van lifted and upfitted by Vandoit, that is most likely the way to go. It feels like Ford rushed to capture it's own slice of the burgeoning Adventure Van market without making the necessary changes that were offered up by pre release "testers".

@@kschuler919 Thanks! I hope Ford realizes that the only way out here is to fix it properly by either raising the chassis more or remaking the front wheel area. If Ford tries to put small tires on it, the trail would be laughed at. By fixing it properly, they could make a big PR event to show how great Ford is in supporting their customers and products. It's under 2000 units to fix and if properly managed could be turned into a win.

They came out with a solution. Smaller tires.

@@Artmac375 unfortunately that solution takes away something the customer paid for explicitly. compensation (or a different solution) is needed to be fair about this.
