@@purpaleslushii hmm i think is the way that you divide the sorc combos into different steps, every sorc video that i see, they teach you like a 9 or more moves combo and then they play it on slow motion, but the way you start with 4 movements at the beginning, and then you connect it with 4 more, and you work on that connection separately too, i don't know , it just clicks better in my mind, maybe it's how i'm used to learn, idk. Also the fact that you are explaining to someone who's learning sorc, makes it easier to cope with frustration in general, because you can see how people progress and see how much time it really takes to learn something. Anyways that's something that you are addresing too when you talk to him, and as a teacher myself i think it's always necessary to point that out, i know "it's only a game" but you are teaching anyways and you are clear with your words. Sry for the wall of text ♥
@@loudy I appreciate the kind words. Some people learn fast and others take longer. My goal is to take into account everyone’s levels and try to bring best features out of everyone I teach. That way people can really focus on what they are good at and can improve from there.
@@purpaleslushii with the start of the combo after the initial Cc (in this case shadow eruption) Can the position of midnight stinger and absolute darkness be swapped or is there a reason why absolute darkness goes first because that avoids the Soulreaper flow entirely and seems a bit snappier but im probably missing some calculation on the Cc or somthing.
@@TheSpecterStudios You forgetting stinger is a stiffness and does damage also. Some people put add ons on absolute darkness like dp down, or extra critical hit damge. Either one of those on top of the normal debuff from absolute darkness will make stinger plus the next 7 secs of ya combo hit harder. Use absolute darkness first for the reason. It could be difference between killing a target or leaving them with 1 % hp and they get up and turn the tables on ya.
The turn back slash cancel is SUPER hard for me to get down and i have no idea why. I feel like if you do it too fast it does the whole ting and obviously if you're too slow it does the whole animation as well. The timing has to be so precise its nuts
I struggled first week too, I found it’s easy once you learn the timing. Which is basically: as soon as you see your sorc land from her Iframe, press C then immediately down RMB right after. Was golden after noticing it works best as soon as you see the sorc first land on ground, she’ll be kneeling at first that’s when you do the sequence back to back fast
love the pacing with this, great for people like me who don't have a lit Sorc coach,, thanks a bunch!
your way of teaching is really unique man, really helping me out with these videos!
What makes it unique?

@@TheSpecterStudios absolute darkness goes first because it debuffs your target thus making all hits after do more damage.
@@wachuku39 So absolute darkness after stinger then achieves the same result then since they both precede the rest of the damage in the combo ?

Have any coaching or tips and tricks for succession sorc? I learn many new things about awakening sorc from your coaching video.
I have a succession sorc guide on my channel that could help you out.

It’s super precise, that’s why I love sorc tho it’s super hard but once you master it, the class becomes amazing!
