Wow, that was so clean and so well coordinated. Dynamics and intonation were spot on, and those fingered harmonics, which are exceptionally difficult, were really on point. Great overall performance.

Other than their beautiful performance, their ease and chemistry on stage is wonderful to watch. Keep it up ladies!

This deserves way more views and likes. These two put on a clinic here. With few exceptions, they were in sync in bow usage and bow placement. My goodness, just stellar. Add to that their musicality and obvious enthusiasm, and you have a touchstone performance on this piece.

  • @gabriel1chan

Good play. Individually, each is quite an accomplished violinist. However, in ensemble playing, the width and speed of the vibrato also need to match. Otherwise the resultant pitch coming from each source will be out of tune by tiny bit, the beat which comes out from the two notes will clash with each other. On the face both are in tune individually, but not in tune together. If you know what I am talking about, great. If you don’t know then never mind.

Excellent performance! My pet peeve is the wiggling about and constantly dipping down. It’s very distracting and should be done at a minimum. Can you imagine Maxim Vengerov moving and flailing about? The answer would be no.

Seeing as they're Heifetz Institute students, I don't really think you have too much of a right to criticise. On top of that, TwoSet are not outstanding players in the least. Fans need to form their own opinions, not eat up what the boys present on a platter. And these two wouldn't have had months and months to prepare.

@@emmyyang4339 I understand that the comment is kinda insulting the players in this vid, but I'm positive the commenter was just joking, since I see Twoset jokes in almost every classical music related video I've come across.
