Exactly. Every storyline is interesting. Just when A-Town Down Under was getting stale he starts planting the seeds of a Theory face turn. He's just so good at long term stories and doing an intense slow burn. Him taking over n vince leaving literally saved WWE and killed AEW. Anyone can say what they want but the decline of aew n the ratings like when it started to just free fall was suspiciously right around the same time it was official that HHH was in charge and vince was gone and had zero say or input in WWE.

Even if Jacob Fatu overshadows Solo in the ring, Solo can still be the smart leader, a different dynamic to 1.0 where Roman was so dominant his position was undisputed.

Started watching wwe with the recent wrestlemania after nearly 25 years. Was a huge fan if wwf growing up and i am pleased to see triple h taking wwe in awesome directions. Your podcast is excellent and helping me catch up considerably fast as you always provide context and backstory, as well as excellent interpretations which is what makes WWE so great.
I did love the Wyatt sicks debut, but for me- the best segment of the week was Drew carrying a busted and bloodied Punk over his shoulders and dumping him down in front of his home crowd. That was an instant classic segment

Sam, I watch the product and because of your podcast I let my mind speculate wildly. I love how you summarize the stories and I appreciate your insight on the creative and production aspects which I think are both the best I've seen in a long time. I'd argue that Drew/Punk is the C story behind Uncle Howdy and the Bloodline. What a time to be a fan!
Man everyone been talking junk of the Bloodline new members but all those guys are legit and now that Jacob finally has made it to the WWE this will put the Bloodline at an entirely higher level! And wait til the younger Tongan comes in people are gonna be in all when he comes in! This Bloodline will be insanely great! People keep sleeping on em but watch how the will be more successful then the original maybe not the long title reign as Roman but those guys are all great workers! Man the Samoans and Tongans are masters of their craft! Why do you think they been out here for so many many years! Theses guys are truly pro wrestling royalties and the lineage will continue to thrive! They all about family despite of the backgrounds they are the number one wrestling family and the way they going they will dominate the entire wrestling word no matter what promotion they are all in! Shoot the better storyline one day is for all of the promotions to follow suit and have the Bloodline in some fashion just dominating pro wrestling everywhere! Man that will be insane!

I believe that if Jey USO is to win a title, the WWE needs to sit him down and tell him that he needs to pick up the pace and work on his ring presence as a solo act. He needs to up his skills in the ring and do more than just super kick, knee drop and chop, then splash. We need to see him pull more tools out of the bag.

In defense of the ones saying that they want to see what happens next with the Wyatt Sicks, you have to realize that most of the ones with that mindset are probably veteran fans of the product.
You have to remember, a few years ago, fans were constantly dangled with a promising storyline, only to be disappointed later.
Even though the WWE is under new management, people have been conditioned for years to believe that they are going to get the bait, and switch treatment.
You can't blame them for feeling that way, especially seeing how the Fiend got booked in his original run. It's going to take time to change that mindset. It's definitely going to take more than two years of Trip's booking for people to finally restore their faith in the product.
PS: Unrelated, but It's obvious. Solo is taking orders from the Rock.

On TNA, Joe Hendry is in a rivalry with Frankie Kazarian apparently. The fact that NXT furthered their TNA storyline is something that has gone under the radar. Triple H and Shawn Michaels are doing such a fantastic job with creative. It's also the difference between WWE and AEW. WWE under Triple H is all about the slow build, AEW fans and wrestlers and probably Tony Khan are so impatient that they can't do the long-term storytelling. They had Swerve winning the title to try to take the spotlight from NXT and Trick Williams winning, which was the culmination of a slow build. Swerve and Ostrich seems incredibly rushed and they are forcing us into Ostrich vs MJF instead of the letting a rivalry form organically. Another thing, I may be wrong, but I have a feeling, with how WWE wrote off Ricochet, that he is sticking around, especially with involving Samantha Irvin. As far as MITB, I think Finn Balor wins, Damien Priest beats Seth Rollins and Finn cashes in on Damien. Liv is also going to side with Finn. One match that should have been listed is the title match at SummerSlam 96 (I may have the year wrong) between Taker and Bret Hart with Shawn Michaels as the guest referee. Tremendous storytelling in that match.
It's been a Busy week in the WWE. Theirs much to talk about.

If what the Wyatt Sick6 values is family, then they left Jey alone because of belief in family. How he bonds with his son. How even though he is feuding with his twin brother he still hopes to reconnect with him. That's ultimately why they didn't bother Jey and possibly why they chose to come out right after his WIN. He was doing it for his family after all. He's not after you because you value FAMILY!

Topics are Money in the Bank Briefcase, and The Bloodline.
First, the MitB briefcase is just another story driving mcguffin. Priest cashed in to exellerate his own stor and contribute to the Punk/McIntyre stories. I think a perfectly valid, but not absolute best, way to use the case would be in the hands of L.A Knight. Logan Paul keeps dodging his challenge despite what Knight tries. So give Knight the case, have him cash in on a fresh Logan Paul because this is just Knight forcing his shit, give Knight the US Championship. Gets Knight a belt he deserves, he wins it clean because he's better than Paul, puts him in a hell of a position. Valid but not the totally best way to use the case.
Bloodline. Solo's Bloodline has been disappointing to me. They look great in ring, but this is supposed to be a crew of mean, efficient monsters. They walk in, wreck house, leave. Totally opposite from Roman's bloodline where everything was a chess match. They're disappointing because they still rely on interference in matches. They don't just destroy their opponents and walk away a dominant force. And in the group beat downs, they always get chased away without leaving anyone truly messed up. Tongans hit up Orton, Kevin Owens charges in and they chase the Tongans away. This Bloodline just isn't threatening right now. I'm excited to see what happens with Jacob Fatu, but so far I've been really disappointed. The bloodline is what got me in to wrestling and I was stoked to see what was going on. Fingers crossed they become a force to be reckoned with
