Trev I'm the EXACT same way as you, I am SO shy its crazy 😂 I'm better now that I'm in highschool but I still dont like talking to new people (or a camera for the matter lol)
On a different note I know how it feels to lose someone close to you, i was very close to my grandma and grandpa. My grandma died when I was like 10 from breast cancer, my grandpa died from a heart attack a couple years after. I hated it. But I tried to stay on the bright side, it worked after awhile and it got easier to think about.

it's ok Trev I dont.know what it is like to lose someone by cancer but I know it must hurt a lot I can't even imagine losing a family member or my best friend. I hope you feel better soon Trev
