God that music. The way the actually melody dynamically transitions between scenes. And this was back in 1991! Almost. 30. Years. Why haven't more games with higher budgets done this since then?
Now that the Final Fantasy VII Remake has been released, check it out. Not only does the music dynamically transition between scenes, but once you enter combat mode it changes depending on how much action is happening - it becomes more intense when you're constantly attacking, and goes into a sort of sustained medium paced riff when you're just trying to keep your distance.

Aha! Thanks for that. I had no idea... I guess I had a false memory of there being voice acting...
Nick Tinsley I thought there was voice acting on the originals too lmao
I can’t trigger the elevator doors closing and lechucks beard getting stuck. What am I doing wrong?
You must have the filled balloon and gloves in your inventory first, then wait for LeChuck to enter before hitting the switch.
What has happened at about @01:43:00? A glitch? Why the reload?
Mistake in editing, sorry about that. I try to make my breaks seamless.
These games are timeless.
If this is two...
...What's this?
I like how the next screen is an “alternate dimension”
Hearing Tidus in this game is so funny
so nostalgic! thanks for this great video :]
Glad you enjoyed it!
Is that the real ending? How does Guybrush wind up marooned at the beginning of MK3? I was hoping this would explain that. 😋
This is the real ending.
How Guybrush escaped the Carnival of the damned is not explicitly stated, but LeChucks speech at the start of Part V of MI3 does go in to some additional detail.
The ending is really unexpected.
* *SPOILERS!!!!!!* *
You're kidding me. All of Guybrush's adventures have been in the mind of the real "Guybrush", a small child?!
*UPDATE:* I've watched the third game now.
+Ghalavad Check out the ending to Monkey Island 3 to see how they follow that up.
what about the gurl? D: they loved each other
The story continues in Curse of Monkey Island. :)
JiFish i really enjoy your walktrhough's,i enjoy those games owo
Thanks.
games like these teach you how to be criminals... ahem...... i mean..... how to pick up a bucket and a peice of wood that u can use to open a door or somthing
Why did you stop and reload after putting up Kate's flyer on the wanted poster just to do it again?
Oh wow. I can't believe it took that long to catch that editing mistake! I actually had to stop to do something at that point. If this happens, I try to cut it as is I hadn't stopped playing. But it looks like I screwed up this time!
THE SCUMM BAR lol. Happens, mate. Still enjoyed watching. I'm in the middle of watching your MI4 walk through now actually
@@THESCUMMBAR Guybrush *was* walking in a kind-of jerky motion,,, down the path. DId that have something to do with it?
Used to play the game when I was 8
Where did You get a plank which You used in chapter 2 to stick into a hole on the tree ?
Cimersies On the wall in Governer Elaine's room in her house. It's an oar.
Thank You ! ;)
Cimersies No worries. Good luck with the rest of the game. :)
thank you for this play through i just got this game free through twitch prime and it’s so fun! I remember playing the first one on xbox when it was on gamepass
Guybrush is a pirate, thats okay...But grave looting? Not cool my man.
Armed and dangerous. Right on! 😂
That ending what the heck?
It was meant to be infamous. I think its kind of lame.
There was an extra part of the ending after the credits.
It's Ron Gilbert for ya.
I know right? Pretty anticlimactic if you ask me.
@@stopthrm I guess here HAS to be an ending right? May as well go out in style.. :P
'
It could have been better, and probably stands out from everything else by far.
Stuck playing drinking game forever still can’t find that bottle of..
But I’ll keep trying must be somewhere
Just kinda wished they clicked back to original graphics in each scene for a few seconds, just for comparison and nostalgia.
You can do this. If you own the special edition, you can switch betweem updated and classic on-the-fly with a keypress.
Oh yeah, I know, but im lazy and love watching your videos as im falling asleep. lol
i hope they do a Special Edition for Day of the tentacle as well
Lucky you, they have. Double Fine have made remasters of Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, and Day of the Tentacle. Day of the Tentacle is on sale right now for $5.
