Why Nicktoons Unite Should Be Re-Imagined, And How The Series Can be Perfected!

- 2-years have passed since the launch of Spongebob BFBB Rehydrated. But with the upcoming release of the 1st new, major Spongebob game in years, The Cosmic Shake. It continues to beg the question, if other Nick games will ever get the remake treatment. That includes the Nicktoons games.
So today, I'm going to go over why the Nicktoons games should be Re-Imagined instead of simply being remastered. And how it can work, to make this series of games, live up to their full potential compared to the original releases.
While also touching upon the idea of cross-promotion for Nick games between different publishers. Let's dive in!

Which will likely be used in regards to cross-promotion for Nick Brawl, alongside the newly leaked Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3 (which has an October release date). Seeing as all the characters listed above, appear in Brawl. Except Rocko, who's coming to the game this Fall.

Now, I'm in no way familiar with Smite, or the 1st 2 Nick Kart Racers, or how they works. If the skins in Smite will be a temporary thing, or permanent. I don't know. But I can still see sort of a cross-promotion strategy going on, and I'm here for it!
And to be more specific about the 1st game being more like the sequels, I was mainly referring to the gameplay style of Battle For Volcano Island, and not so much the others that came after. Wherein levels had just the right length, and didn't drag on for too long, like Unite & the console version of Toybots did. Characters had access to their own special abilities compared to Toybots, where everyone kinda felt the same to control. But Volcano Island was still a bit limited with abilities compared to Unite.
Then there's Toybots' more frustrating "touch anything & go pop back to checkpoint mechanic", AKA Crash Bandicoot precision, which got annoying super fast. Compared to Volcano Island's knockback, which is, also a bit annoying. But it's far more managable & tolerable than what Toybots did. As Volcano island will just pop you back up where you last stood, instead of making you do certain things over & over again for the 100th time.
Not to mention the story & villain of Volcano Island just creates a better & honestly more epic atmosphere, to accompany the pretty good gameplay & character interactions both in & out of gameplay. Despite it mainly being a beat'em up styled game, with plenty of platforming elements. It at least stays pretty varied, and offers a good bit of 2D & 3D gameplay, without quickly getting too repetitive or relying too much on one thing.
And since Invader Zim easter eggs do appear in Volcano Island, despite none of the series' characters making an appearance. A re-Imagining of the series, with more characters, and refined gameplay, could take these games to new heights! But I still think a SpongeBob Movie Game approach could work better, that's just me tho.

The nicktoons crossover games were such an iconic parallel in the nicktoons universe. And I wish that one day someone were to create a new nickelodeon crossover game that fits into the nicktoons unite playstyle, but better. The SpongeBob Cosmic Shake game's plot was about crossing through dimensions. A sequel would benefit the opportunity for a new Nickelodeon crossover game that's NOT All-Star's Brawl or another Kart racing game. Just a good old fashioned platform adventure game.
My life as a teenage robot and invader zim deserves the spotlight to become a video game series to shine in their own adventures to shine and create hype for Nickelodeon fans. I also want the loud house and the casagrandes to have their own games.

If they ever reimagine Nicktoons Unite, I would add Avatar Aang and Jenny as founding members of the team, along with their villains being founding members for the Syndicate. The original plot of the first game is kind of serious for a Nick game, the Syndicate plan on absorbing energy from their worlds to make a bomb that will wipe out the multiverse, but they'll be safe in their pods to be the immortal rulers of the new multiverse, that plot has to kept in no matter what and given the serious respect it deserves. You can still have some comedic tones in the game, but when we're seeing places like Amity park, Dimmesdale, Bikini Bottom, Retroville, Tremorton and especially the Avatar world being invaded and harvested, the tone should shift into a serious one. Every world should have a resistance like in Bikini Bottom or Fairy World, to show that things are getting dire and we're not alone in saving the day.

I hope the nicktoons unite franchise continues. I do agree that they'll probably remake the first game and than give us a new entry like their doing now with cosmic shake after remaking battle for bikini bottom first.
Meanwhile for me, if it's all possible, then I can imagine a Supercharged Version of Swiper the Fox being the Game's Surprise Final Boss. What do I mean? Who needs Dora and Boots anyway when we can use him instead?
For the animated cutscenes, I would love to see them in different styles to represent the various nicktoons shows; basically like what the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour trilogy did!

I 💯% believe that underrated popular outstanding award winning shows like Invader Zim and teenage robot deserves to have their own video games when it comes to battling villains, challenging obstacles and unique cg 3d graphic style.

I want all 4 of Nicktoons Unite! to get a remake and then they should do a brand-new Nicktoons Unite! game which is the 5th entry with old and modern Nicktoons.

When it comes to Superheroes like DC and Spider-Man, I would legitimately kill for a Danny Phantom PS and Xbox license console if they had right budget to revive the show to make a comeback.
Here’s a thought, an MCU styled idea where we start with the remakes of the stand alone titles that then lead into the new Nicktoons Unite games which then feature references to the remade stand alone games. Then after the first Nicktoons Unite we get brand new games for My Life as a Teenage Robot, Invader Zim, and others, then introduce those characters into the Unite storyline.
Is it likely? No.
But would it be awesome? Absolutely.
All this talk of MLAATR being involved in Nicktoons unite has me all like, "Now you guys are talking my language." What I would do for something like that to happen, keep up the good work me boyo.

This video made me check out your channel, you have earned a subscriber. I would love to see the nicktoons unite series come back or be remade sooo bad. Those games were my childhood and the 4 main characters from nicktoons unite make such a good band of friends and it is criminal that we have not seen them together again. Love your idea of having a "reimagined" series of games come out, I just hope if they are going to build on or reimagine the original story, that they can add the avatar world and characters, Jenny, Zim, Tak again, and others to expand the lore and story.
If nothing else, a Nicktoons Unite remake would need to be a ground-up reimagining. The core story and character/gameplay interactions are great, but it's bogged down by too long levels and bad animations and sound design. Given the same design but more depth in gameplay, a reimagining could work really well.
I turn 20 this year. My buds and I recently had a sleepover where we played through Unite. I've had the game since I was a very young child, and I had never beaten it until that night. It was a great experience finally beating the game with my best friends.

I feel like if Toybots did get a reimagining, there would be a more in-depth explanation of Calamitous teaming up with the Irkens, maybe he would bribe the almighty tallest with snacks and send Zim and a bunch of Irken soldiers to capture the unlockable heroes (Jenny, Stimpy, Rocko, El Tigre, and Mr. Blik) and after the second half of Factory zone three (the space theme level), Calamitous backstabs Zim, causing Zim to reluctantly join Spongebob and the others, allowing him to be playable.
Oh, and Arnold from Hey Arnold being among one of the captured heroes, since there was concept art of Arnold inside of a Scan Pod Chamber (the chambers where you rescue the unlockable heroes)
Or better yet, after destroying the flying saucers in the space theme factory zone, a boss battle with Zim begins and after defeating him, it’s revealed that Calamitous was planning to backstab Zim and Zim joins the party

I want Nicktoons Unite to be reimagined. It was one of my favorite game series growing up. If they do the series again this would be their chance to really play with the other Nicktoon characters from other shows that Nickelodeon has. Shows that fell off the radar while the new shows too.

As for the story I would have the "find this character" element that Volcano Island and Attack of the Toybots had with the upgrade system of the first Nicktoons Unite game with the villain being the Mawgu who returns in the series with a new power as he not only corrupts people but also gives the bosses new abilities like restoring Ozai's fire bending but with the added bonus of giving him lava bending. I would have the graphics of Battle for Bikini Bottom with the platforming gameplay mechanics of the 1st SpongeBob movie game.
They should do this and include characters from Avatar:The Last Airbender, TUFF Puppy, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(2012)
And I also would like to see even Cindy Vortex from Jimmy Neutron as a fully playable
character possibly in Nicelodeon All Star Brawl and maybe even in a Nicktoons game crossover
re-imaging game perhaps since she's never been a PC in the earlier JN games or even
in the Nicktoons crossover games series whatsoever but now would be the perfect
time to do that I'd also like to see both Luan Loud and Leni Loud be as Playable Characters

I like the idea using the upgrade option from the spongebob movie, it could give the characters a whole new perspective when they get an upgrade, a small clip comes to show of their new upgrade or new powers with their intro music of their shows, it could be badass or funny in those clips depends on the characters, in that spongebob game you have to collect coins in order to buy an upgrade if i'm correct, i would like the idea of using mario odyssey coins with it, not only can you get upgrade with normal coins but if you collect let's say green slime coins that symbolise each worlds for (example: Danny's world slime coins could be shape of a ghost, Timmy's world slime coins in a shape of a star) then you can buy alter clothes, funny clips between characters, or even 3d figure for collecting.
Making a team was a best option in "attack of the toybots" so i think by using the idea of marvel ultimate alliance, in that game not only can you make a team of 4 characters
but also if you find the right combination you heard a teamname and get a boost, it could be increase strength or health, what if use that but not just the right characters in a team but looking for alter clothes that fits in a team (like: el tigre, jenny, danny phantom and cleft the chin wonder as the hero league or something) but als that you choose between 2 or 4 characters in a team, plus in that marvel game two characters can make a team-attack, imagine if danny and jenny were in a team together they could make a powerful blast between jenny's laser and danny's ghost blasts.
It's true that some stories were great in the beginning, but if there's gonna be a remake then i would like to see a different perspective in the story, for example a original villian stole the reality tome, a book that can change destinies of everyone, like when aang fights against the firelord but the firelord isn't alone, he's working with vexus to destroy aang, or when el tigre fights with his familie against black cuervo and her familie but instead a certain half ghost villian came and posses panthera using his ghost powers and panthera's shoes he defeated the rivera's easy and stole their prized possesions namely the belt, the hat and the shoes, and when jenny came to Jimmy neutrons world she was heavely damaged and jimmy learns that someone is changing flows of realities of different worlds, he fixed jenny and goes with her to other worlds to help them and working together.
And that's it, my ideas.
I'd love to see the Nicktoons Unite series make a comeback someday. Maybe add some new shows like The Loud House, TMNT 2012, Glitch Techs, etc.

I have watched a couple of your videos now and your TH list is quite noticeable, so maybe try to slow down and take a breather because the contient is good and the viewers are going nowhere keep it up and take your time
If they remaster all of these games, I would love to see a game mode with a playable Timmy Turner for the Globs of Doom remaster, kind of like the Mario + Rabbids games' DLC modes with Donkey Kong and Rayman. Same thing with the Battle for Volcano Island remaster, but with a playable Jimmy Neutron. And for the Attack of the Toybots remaster, I would love to include all the content from both the console and portable versions such as the extra playable characters, levels, master modles, and the actual bosses. Oh, and make the extra playable characters actually part of the story and include master models of characters from shows released after the original game like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Mighty B!, Making Fiends, The Legend of Korra, The Loud House, The Casagrandes, T.U.F.F. Puppy, Harvey Beaks, It's Pony, and that's it, nothing else. For all the games being remastered, make extremely major tweaks to all of the games, that's all I have to say. Sorry it this comment is really long by the way.
When you think about it we've been getting a new nickelodeon game ever since 2018. Nickelodeon kart racers 1 (2018), nickelodeon super brawl universe (2019), spongebob rehydrated & nickelodeon kart racers 2 (2020), nickelodeon all-star brawl (2021), and this year we have 4 games. Nickelodeon extreme tennis, tmnt shredder's revenge, spongebob the cosmic shake, and nickelodeon kart racers 3. I wouldn't be surprised if a nicktoons unite remake comes out next year or maybe some other type of nick crossover game.
It is a possibility. Let's hope for the best that we'll probably get a reveal trailer for it next year or something

14:18 It's possible the opposite could work; *in that making this re-imagined Unite game could spark more and renewed interest for these characters. Which then could LEAD to those remakes or even new games possibly getting greenlit. (*For those who didn't grow up with those cartoons, they can get a small definitive package here, causing them to seek out said shows afterwards.)

This was a great reimagined or your version of what a good or decent New Nicktoons Unite game could be like adding Jenny, Zim or even some Loud House characters into a new story.
I would love for there to be a Nicktoons Unite remastered/reimagined game! Although, technically speaking, I wouldn’t really include all nicktoon show characters as it would probably be a little too much to work with much less comprehend, at least for the first game. Second game and beyond, I won’t care much then, they can add more then. And I know my perspective may sound somewhat controversial, but just hear me out. For the first game at least, I would only include six main characters from six shows that were always more interesting and more popular anyway. In retrospect, the Avengers started out as six members in the MCU’s first Avengers movie anyhow, so it would make sense for the reimagined/remastered first Nicktoons Unite game to start out with six either way.
For starters - I would still include SpongeBob, Jimmy Neutron, Timmy Turner (w/ Cosmo & Wanda), & Danny Phantom no matter what. Those first 4 always, because they’re were the golden days of Nickelodeon back in the 2000’s era. And then the fifth one would be Avatar Aang from ATLA, he could really be a powerful asset to Team Nicktoons now that he has just mastered all four elements, despite his seemingly young age, and even given his compassionate and heroic nature.
As for the sixth main character, I’m kinda juggling between Jenny from MLAATR and the Penguins of Madagascar. Although I’m not sure if the POM would fit in too well for the first game anyway, mainly because I said the first game should start out with six members and that would be going over that limit, and also because there’s no main villain in that world (unless there’s a secret one that we never really knew about, idk though); so I would have to say that Jenny would more likely be the one of the six members to join Team Nicktoons on their universe-saving mission. It would just make a bit more sense anyway.
I would also like to point out that the events of the reimagined first game I think should take place roughly a month after the 100-year war has been won by Team Avatar. And the main villains would be Professional Calamitous, Crocker, Plankton, Vlad, & Azula! And another thing… thanks to the unexpected help of the syndicate, Azula is freed from captivity and seeks revenge on Team Avatar! And she even attempts to finish what her father started, and allows the syndicate to drain bending energy from every bender that she - with the help of the syndicate army - has captured to further power up the Doomsday machine.
If they do all that for Nicktoons Unite Reimagined, we got ourselves a new fun game to play!

A retelling and expanded take of the nick toons' worlds would be enjoyable. Danny Jenny and Zim we're interesting characters.
I imagine the Samurai Jack Battle Through Time gameplay route and a form of Crash 4 it's About Time.

As for Danny, the return of Dark Dan. Being the cause of turning the timelines Dark. Dealing in the twisted landscape of Amity Park. Where Plant (possessed) Sam rules it with an iron fist. Danny must to take it back while rescuing his friends in this corrupted reality with the help of Jenny and Zim.
The chaos of multiple earths or timelines at war. Protecting other timelines that have been corrupted from other forces at play. Where the next worlds or timelines focus on Jimmy Neutron, Fairly Oddparents, and Spongbob. Being a parallel to the story.

Creating a similar situation to the episode in The Trouble with Clones. Instead of an evil cloned Earth, it would be an evil timeline by Evil Jimmy. Where villains of Jimmy's past are in charge. In that scenario, Jimmy is protected by Clockwork. Giving him a chance to fix the damage of his universe's history. Creating a team up.
As for Fairly Oddparents, Timmy would deal with an evil version of himself created from the Nega Timmy episode. Using his time scooter to change the events he sees fit. As with Jimmy, Timmy would be protected by Clockwork. Leading to that team-up crossover. Where the Fairy Anniversary Muffin would be in play to fix his universe. As the situation needs a rule-breaking wish. Similar to the Shadow Showdown event.

In addition to these things, I felt like we can also bring on Swiper the Fox from an Alternate Reality where he became even more Powerful to Swipe almost everything that he can find across Time and Space.
What do I mean? I felt like we need the most bizarre pick for the Final Boss thingy. I can imagine him being the surprise Final Boss to fight. If you are seriously strong enough, then you'll have to stop him or else, the future is Dead.

The games getting re-imagined is the best possible setup... Especially if they wanted to keep the general Marvel Ultimate Alliance setup concept, since it could then be far better to start by not only having full cutscenes FAR more often, but also a bigger roster of playable characters that you can switch in and out of the 4 player slots, creating whatever 4 character team you can think of. By then, it'll help to also adapt Tak and the Power of Juju in a far better way when they can base it more on the OG trilogy of games rather than the TERRIBLE show they did later on, as well as all the other shows that got representation later on and never did even in the later 3 games...
Like, Avatar The Last Airbender? Which needs NOT a remake of the 3 games it had back then, but a brand new game adapting all 3 seasons/books of the original series, down to where... I'd personally hope they get Platinum Games to do it, since they already did a game for Korra that... While I dislike the series, especially in comparison to The Last Airbender being LEAGUES better, the game itself had a solid structure. Then, with Avatar The Last Airbender having all 3 of the books adapted into one game, you can have a solid campaign for Aang, but also you can adapt Katara into her own playable character with her own campaign too(perhaps eventually having Blood Bending as a mechanic?), also having Sokka rocking his own campaign with unique gameplay to reflect his lack of bending AND rocking just weapons instead, Toph would also be nice to see with her own campaign, but... What would especially be awesome, is if Zuko can not only rock his own campaign, but also Uncle Iroh too, to perhaps see his younger years this way as well! All that combined would make for the ULTIMATE Avatar The Last Airbender game that would sell like crazy, easily!!!
Also, when the hell is Tak's trilogy gonna be remade finally!? I was SO HAPPY to see him on the list of franchises they'd be working on, so of course I'm hoping the original trilogy gets remade for modern consoles AND PC! After all, the original game was my first PS2 game and lead me to get a PS2 when I was in elementary school... Without Tak, I would have never played stuff like Kingdom Hearts, let alone Jak and Daxter... So... It needs to finally have some info come out soon... 😢💔

Here's the thing. Other than one Jimmy Neutron game (which wouldn't even be a super big deal for a remake, because Jimmy Neutron just doesn't have the massive on-going fandom of Zim or the smaller but still substantial one for Danny Phantom), three Tak Games (also low priority) and Breakin' Da Rules (okay, that'd be fun/hype)? They just...don't have many remake worthy titles or even existing 3D titles TO remake for a lot of those series.

Plus don’t forget that characters like Invader zim would’ve been a major target for video games, just like version of Rick and Morty’s when it comes to cg syfy. Since his movie came on Netflix they should’ve focused on their product by actually coming with different gaming ideas for a animated quality show that still holds popularity for young older audiences when it comes to sponsorships advertisements.
