Amazing what high school fishing does for the entire industry!!!! Wish I was back in high school...wouldn't of Ditched to go fishing as much...lol...Great job BASS!!
I kinda want to start fishing I’m pretty good at it but I need a lot more practice. I’ve only caught pan fish nothing bigger than that. I need to practice on bass tbh
Good observation🤔... The rookie pro's don't get that luxury, why should they? But given there age, maybe all high school anglers should go threw one season with a pro, freshman in high school, freshman season. After that they play same as the big boys... On second thought, you are absolutely right, if you can't drive for yourself, you dont need to be a competitive angler period (no disrespect intended young men/women👊)
Norcal Bass'n With Rio Blanco I think what Adam is saying is a Professional Tournament angler shouldn’t be allowed to be a boat captain. Suggesting to just keep it at volunteer weekend anglers/fathers/mothers ect. And obviously pros have children too but would an Elite pro or FLW pro have an advantage ? Maybe and on your second comment are you suggesting these young kids drive the boats themselves ? I hope not !
@@glenndaugherity6187 I know what he was sayin, and to your second reply, I think ABSOLUTELY! I mean obviously not at 12 or 13, and iv givin this a little bit of thought and when I watch this one thing that stands out imo is it seems to be a little... Cushy I guess, like it's a little too easy for these young'uns 🤔... Maybe implement a "qualifying year", where both people on every team should have to go threw a couple of qualifying rounds at the age they can legally operate a vessle, in which they would, say, drive some kind of obstacle course before they could even fish a tourny, the pro would be there for just in cases and threw out the season as an on hands advisor, nothing more, nothing less, and that would be the only year they would get a pro even in the boat, and if they cut the mustard, there certified from then on, with that next year being there true rookie year... Hhhmmm, I think I might have a little to much time on my hands...
This is the dumbest waste of camera time and resources possible from a viewer's standpoint. From a business standpoint, it's a brilliant way to make sure you'll have money coming your way for years to come.
@@dylanstokes3749 It's pretty stupid to watch these dudes make sloppy overhand casts and miss fish over and over when there is so many other avenues of Bassmaster competition that BASS could choose to televise or spend money on camera crews for a multiple day tournament. From a business standpoint it makes perfect sense to set these guys up as feeling special so they'll continue down a path of paying entry fees and supporting the circuit. It's all good!
colton n trust me, if you have a “passion” for bass fishing and you work hard to become better at it, it’s pretty stupid to watch how bad some of this is. There are a lot of other competition days they could be showing instead of this.
RIP Wes🐐
Thank you. He was pretty awesome!

Up North Angling nope rescheduled for October

Glad to see the future of BASS
From a high school angler I don’t see how it’s fair to have a boat captain be a pro I don’t feel like that should be allowed.

Adam Kinnear *~Same, my captain is literally my partner’s mom...*
Just a thought...
I missed out on this by 1 place on okeechobee 😥
Shoulda spent more time fishing instead of video games.
Pain Weaver 😭😭
Lmao yea. Real hard to catch em when your dads a pro tellin u where and what to throw 😂😂 some kids just have that blessing. no hate. Whackin em.
@dylan stokes I qualified by fishing the Michigan 2019 team trail and if you finish top 3 in the state you get a spot in the national championship
Where was I and why didn't I know about this😂😂
I wanna do fishing more often but it’s pretty hard. I don’t have proper supplies and I’ve only caught pan fish.
How can I get in the tournament?
What a great event for some young hammers! #AlwaysBeRecording
Are they supplied with a boat. It seems like none of them have an aluminum boat
fisher man not typically. It’s usually the chaperone that supplies and drives the boat.
Nathan 3599 ahh thanks brother
fisher man not a problem man
Only if my school had a team😢
BassBros go out and start one!!
We started one and my teammate qualified and is in this video and me and my partner qualified for 2020
@@drakevandike6888 how did u already qualify?
Dylan Stokes yea I’m in bassmaster and you can’t qualify this early
My buddy qualified and was in the background and was in 24th place

They should have a "must buy your own boat" section. lmao Noone would qualify.

@@dtack777 whatever theyre high school anglers, they have plenty of time. The first casts I saw were actually good roll casts.
