Captured weapons were tested and broken down to learn their weak points and strong points. They didn't put it all back together when they were done. Most of the tanks are just shells.
No Tiger? No Panzer 4? Or 3? And rust...
Panzer 4 and 3 there are if you have see. Having the jagdtiger and italian and japanse tanks is a lot cause they're rare.
I prefer the Saumur museum, in France. The tanks and vehicles are in good condition, with camo, in short, more realistic .
The bovington tank museum is probably the best in the world.
why are they all painted white?
I agree some of those babies need some tlc
Please, put the German tanks inside, to protect them from the elements.
This is crazy.
Abberdeen should be proud to own these tanks, but please preserve them!!
Diebels Alt They’re no longer at APG, hopefully their new home will be better.
@@zackwatson755 Thanks for the info.
Let's hope so.
They should have sold this tanks to Hollywood ,where they could be used as showpieces in museum and and also be used as movie props. In that way they would also be protected as a profit generating asset for movies...and then we could see many WW2 movies with proper tanks instead of cardboards or shitty CGI's.
at 8.28 it looks like the chieftain in the background of the chieftain tank !!! lol

11:48 Actually a T-54
They need to look after what they have it is a treasure trove!
Somebody should finance them a BUILDING.
All gone now.
They look strange without proper markings.
laying there just rusting away
Suppose we should be glad they aren't all sitting up up cinder blocks, stripped and burned out.
With this kinda care, it's not much of a step down though...
They need to build a giant building!! Crowd found it, I'll throw a few thousand in , I bet tens of thousands of Americans would kick in some also!
they should take better care of those vehicles before their gone.
9:35 US and Germany Concept Tank. ;-)
It's no Bovington is it?! Wasteful them just sat there rotting away
The Ordnance Museum has wanted for decades to build a larger building to protect the entire collection. But it takes major cash. to accomplish their plan. I donated several times to help with the preservation efforts. The cash I gave went to the restoration of the Panzer 4s. Contact them and see how you can donate if you really do care. www.ordmusfound.org/
They moved all these tanks to Virginia
どの戦車も動くのかな?
Germany, Germany !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too bad they can't be brought indoors.
What a shame rotting outside. Lets see them restored to running condition, anyone can free up parts clean them then paint them. Not very impressive.
