I think Keita Bates-Diop or Eric Gordon are more likely to be the 5th starter than Yuta Watanabe or Jordan Goodwin, though I still think Okogie is most likely, at least to start the year. KBD has the size and ability to guard the other team's best wing on ball, and often did that in San Antonio last year while shooting a career high 39% from 3. Eric Gordon starting would be the Suns leaning fully into offense. The fact he shoots from so deep beyond the 3 point line gives maximal spacing for the big 3. Plus, Gordon has a little bit of playmaking ability, which would let the big 3 play off ball all at the same time for a few possessions. Still think its Okogie most nights to start the season though though, as they need someone to guard the other team's main offensive initiator which usually is a guard. Okogie is one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA, and his offensive woes hurt less when he's surrounded by 4 efficient scorers in the starting lineup.
@@alansnow1129 I like Diop. My only two concerns with starting him are: who is going to guard the other team's best guard, and is his shooting from last year real or a fluke?
They have a championship coach the best duo in Durant and Booker, a great 3rd option in Beal who can take pressure off the stars. X factor is Aylton he has to play defense be invoked offensively .they have a great bench. They have everything they need to win it all this year if healthy
I mean if theyre healthy, theyll be pretty difficult to eliminate in the playoffs. I have an impossible time picturing that full roster even close to healthy for majority of season, but lets hope we see some entertaining basketball out of it
If the Suns want to, they'll easily win 60+ games. I hope the Suns get the revenge tour on during the playoffs and knockout the Mavs and Nuggets in the first two rounds and take down the Lakers just for old times sake in the conference finals. Let's throw in the Bucks just for funsies in the Finals.
I feel like we know what we're going to get out of most all of these players.. The wild card is DA. And who's going to lead this team in rebounding. He's never going to lead the league in shot-blocking. But if he can be a top 15 or so rebounder. You can start engraving the Larry O'Brien trophy.
The Suns have the most complete team this coming season. They do need another PG though…if KD wins the championship, will he become top 20? I think he will
Is this the YEAR The Suns Win The Title?
Yes I think they 3Peat ❤❤❤
🤣🤣Noooope
@@keyboardmanjosh you don't know anything and are just a hater
Yep
Suns fans have a reason to be excited. But long road ahead. Nothing is guaranteed. Just can't wait for the season to start!
Great breakdown man, from a Suns fan I am so excited to watch this team. Nothing is guaranteed but I think this team is gonna be a juggernaut
I just pray for injury free seasons or just like not massive injuries. These guys just need the opportunity to show what they got

Diop should be starter! He’s 6’8. Heavier! Gordon be perfect as 6 th man type getting the bench organized

Great video, as a Suns fan, I agree with everything this guy said

NICE TAKE BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
If we’re healthy the majority, if not the whole season, I’m going a bit off the deep end here but I say 58 wins this season
I think another 6”9 player will be my 5th starter someone great on defense who can still shot when open
Watanabe? Got the shot and D, even if he's "only" 6'7"
Diop be better starter!
Bring yuta, Gordon and bol bol off the bench
@@ilai7893WATANABE 6'9"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's never avgd less than 10
Again? I say wait and see :))
With coach Williams gone, there is no more excuse for Deandre Wimpton to remain a wimp.
Lol if you want basketball content add a good basketball pod to the network. There are many good smaller ones.
We have one! The Objective Basketball Pod started last year and will be back in October ✊🏼
Have the Mets taught us nothing?
Durant is awesome and far more reliable than Kyrie or Harden?
Only Durant there has a winning mentality others just shoot
Kevin “offense wins championships” Durant
Booker just shoots? Casual take
You don't know ball
Bad bad take
Hell nah lil bro you goofy

He alr is top 20😂
Plz just stop this, its a waste if time, just do hockey stuff
hockey omegalul
Lifelong Suns fan here, but they won’t win the title this year. Their depth led them to the Finals in ‘21, they’re a kiddie pool now
They should of signed saric back over the summer instead of metu
You don't know anything lol
You aint no Suns fan 😂
