I got back into melee and have one friend who strictly plays 3 high tiers marth is so stupid he forces ur hand to go Falco or straight up marth dittos & gets all huffy when u say u are carried by high tiers I was using all low tiers still held my own he said I wish u where better and I’m like uh I handicap myself by playing dumb characters like pichu & actually have a life so I can’t practice games 24/7 then pick up fox & win everytime he suggested I switch to one of the top 3 & I’m just like nahhh don’t touch the stuff why I always liked your content just a random main
Don’t get me wrong u can be good and only play high tiers melee is that game but it’s just so funny to see someone win with like Kirby on a first try against someone playing like falcon fox & marth all night just outta the blue some scrub starts winning with luigi & shit on 1st try against someone who has years on yah & the other person gets salty because ur not using high tiers then u switch to em & win 2-0 like that like actually winning melee matches gives u something irl to boast about play who u want I miss when smash was just 2-4 friends sitting together playing the full roster not maining the by logistics 3 best characters in the game I really don’t care about tiers but only when people play a fair number of characters to compensate from all angles if u just play high tiers ur a tier wh*r3 like let’s time someone out in friendlies why I don’t like the melee scene it really is run by elitest who play high tiers only and will just back out if u play anyone but high tiers & people who when ur just trying to play friendlies try to time u out with fast characters & not hit anyone that is where the game & it’s community gets so bad I just wanna turn it off but it’s just a game that’s where I wish folk didn’t take it as seriously but some peeps see melee as a way of life and yah once again it’s just a game win or lose I hope u have fun & don’t let weirdos like that stop u from training and enjoying a game u can have fun with 😊

@@rosheafan yah I know play what u want just play high tiers play low tiers focus on 1 character if u want, I’m just saying I miss the days when we could all just play whatever random dittos n no one even knew about tiers I just hate when people would go to lengths like imma just time u out with fast characters n not actually play, there r ways u can approach against any character even marth u just gotta practice tech I’m just saying for a first time playing the game I held my ground against a dude who only rocks high tiers n outta no where I could get wins with high tiers just to prove how easy and carried they are and whoop someone who only mains them with even bottom 3 characters outta the blue never even touching them so yah I don’t think people r carried u are carried by how good u are I wish I met a roy main vs a marth main Roy is way more fun against puff pichu & other characters still got edge but just less toxic as marth with more fun properties and animations u don’t find those they r rare
@@rosheafan u can never have someone tell u u are bad for maining a low tier & losing when u have less experience cuz I’m busy with obligations & then tell them to pick a high tier, u can play whoever the f u want how am I in the wrong for that I was just laughing like I don’t touch the top 3 characters besides puff because they r too easy to win with then I got wins with fox simple as that to prove a point both times lol, I just like the animations for characters like G&W getting a 9 a rest or dysnc combo is way better to me then getting wins with characters that carried just have fun win or lose it’s always funny to see pichu win or lose n that shit is a feat u can laugh at and go idk how many times I died or people raged out on me for playing the worst character it’s just a game that will never not be funny it takes practice to squeak one out but yah just don’t let toxic people or play styles ruin the community
