RE seem to have a knack of building beautiful, classy looking bikes. This is one of very few cruiser style bikes that I could see myself on. Like the 350 Meteor, the seating position isn't too extreme. Absolutely gorgeous looking bike.

I sold my RE Interceptor 650 last December and bought a Multistrada V2S. The V2 is great but I miss my RE 650. Two totally different creatures. On the North Dallas toll road where you must go 80 MPH/128 KPH or you get run over the V2 is great. But the smooth shifting simplicity of the Interceptor is much more fun on the city surface streets of Dallas/Ft Worth Texas. I can't wait for the new Meteor 650's to get to the U.S.A. Never can have too much chrome for this geezer....I wish the cases were chrome or high polished metal.

First time after RE 500 Classic I am proud of Royal Enfield. All throughout these years, I kept asking one question, when will we rise up to international standards in bike design and make such products. Finally a worthy opponent to the heavy bike segment by RE.

I'm so glad to RE building up and modernizing. Beautiful bike. If it gets good aftermarket support it will replace the Harley sportster in a lot of ways.
My Only concern is… heat dissipation.. but lets c, if RE has done so much research they must have sort that too, fingers crossed. If that not an issue will consider buying but also waiting for Himalayan.
I am waiting for new Interceptor man what a beauty Interceptor would become with USDs and LED with new good Wide tubeless tyres little bit design tweaks like giving it more premium look similar to this meteor.

I am a proud owner of Bajaj avenger cruiser 220 with two sideboxes attached......The red one , feels like inspired by Bajaj Avenger cruiser 220, the logo style on tank, tank shape, seating style, Windsor etc...Still it looks nice... liberally adapted the style.... its not the cough that carries you off, its the coffin they carry you off in. bikes look great, think with the extra weight some m9re cc might he needed like the 865cc you rode, but then tyey wouldnt be a2 license friendly

I love my himalyan anywhere on any road or no roads 40 km milage best comfortable and make me speechless when I ride perfect with my height and it looks big and huge and it is a beast
I'll buy it, eventhough I guess it needs a better cooling system and more power. I know some modify the motor to over 800 cc quite easily, ifit came around 900 cc and 80 hp from fabric, I'll sure buy that one better.
I am not an always cheeky one though my comments may sound like, I really appreciated the interceptor and GT 650 entirely, I didn't even complain anything there.. few complaints on hunter not much.

Awesome design, this can perhaps bring me back to RE, of course I have moved to sports segment though. The exhaust note could have been little more crisp and loud or punchy like that of TriumphT100, if not T120. Pipes are chromed enough but could be adding a lot weight making it to 241kilos!
The elevation of the motorbike and the tank getting sleek towards the seat making it look like a Wild jaguar is not what most people expected of RE including me and many I spoke to.. it should have been straight and the tank bulky while the version with comfy seating for pillion with rest are great and should have had an 850 CC with powerful fan radiator and oil cool combined, a nice outer spaced-insulator kind of technology to create heart isolation like a goal but only goes out out gets cooled down with the cooling tech.. More better looking alloy wheels, bigger or twin head lamps..
If it truly is 241 kg (INT650 is 202 kg) with fluids ready-to-ride it will be 550 pounds, my 2020 INT650 was 468 pounds; switching the exhaust and pulling the centerstand, etc got it down to 196kg (431 pounds). My Speed Twin 1200cc weighs 474 pounds full of fuel. This M650 weighs as much as 1,000cc and bigger bikes; shame on Royal Enfield...if that added weight is because of the wheels that is even further insulting particularly to the handling. Basic physics, can't change it.

Next gen is a must to have belt instead of the hassle of chain maintenance.
