It was such a pleasure to co-host part of this episode with you Sonny, especially that we got to try on camera some of my favorite foods and speak about topics that really matter to us, Lebanese 🇱🇧 🙏🏼
Lebanon has such beautiful cultures and amazing foodways. In a way Lebanon is like a person living with bipolar disorder. In that it has such high culture, history, and landscape with tragic revolution, economic, and governance problems.
It was a pleasure meeting you Sonny and participating as a co-host in this episode about street food in Lebanon 🇱🇧. Thank you for showing Lebanon and its great food to the world. Keep up the good work
I'm a Lebanese/Armenian who lived in Lebanon all my life before moving to study in Switzerland, I've been following you on your journey for 5 years now, I always wondered if you visited real authentic street food places, and now I'm sure of it. You really went to the best places in Beirut! Also, the factual documentary parts in the videos are pretty accurate, Keep up the great videos man!
Every single time I watch this show, I tear up because my heart fills with so much respect, i love how sonny educates the world on these different cultures, it's so amazing
I was 7 years old when I last visited Lebanon (I'm 58 now), it was the tourism destination for many. I can still remember the pine smell when we took walks near the apartment we stayed at, and the fruit stands at the side of the road. Some of our elders decide to move to Lebanon for their retirement years. But the current financial situation, drugs, kidnapping, are all hurting Lebanon to a point of no return.
I'm so fascinated by all the unique combinations of flavors and textures in Lebanese food! It really seems like a culture that has retained it's history and that warms my heart 🤍
We had a Lebanese restaurant near my house that was absolutely amazing. Their food was so delicious. I was so sad when they closed a few months ago. I spoke with the owners father and he was telling me he’d only been in the states for a few years. They were the nicest people and just made you feel so welcome in their restaurant. I hope they open another location again soon

This is what I’m talking about as a Lebanese-American who’s gone to Lebanon so many times I’ve lost count, the street food, the souk in Tripoli the everyday hustle of Lebanon! You made me proud Sonny! This made up for those visits in the hotels were the food wasn’t that good I could just tell by the videos, the street food blows away any five star hotel you’ve gone to in Lebanon.
