I have the perfect follow up: cooking food on your motor whilst running errands! It was a fad many years ago, but is making a come back! I watched a tv show and it’s called Worst Cooks in America and someone wanted to cook fish in a dishwasher because he does that at home🤦♀️ You guys didn’t fail it, the dishwasher just might not like you lol

Puglife1818 ._. Never heard this. Me personally would have cooked it by itself w/o dishwasher soap only cause I don't trust it but that's me. Thought it was pretty interesting and yeah every dishwasher works different and temp, so could have been why. Hell I screw up regularly cooked meals. Guess it's woa try! 😂 Lol

but they nailed it so that means their dishwasher does like them

did you let it go through the entire drying cycle? Because that's what actually cooks it. However, I would not cook in the dishwasher.
Maybe if you used cooking bags it would work better
I think because you left the lemon juice on it for so long that that is actually what cooked the salmon and not the dishwasher. You made Ceviche.

Desmond is my favorite character addition to this 😂😂 sooooo funny. To all the negative comments- I'm pretty sure all our parents were doing trial and error too. I remember we went camping one time and our water supply leaked, and another camper a few spots over gave us bleach to add to the stream water to make it safe to cook and drink......yeah we all almost died. So don't feel bad! This was pretty good 😉

To not have to do multiple things. You can do the dishes and make dinner at the same time.
My dishwasher is too full with dishes that need washing to cook in it.

The issue with the salmon, may have been that you put the shinny side out so it reflected heat away from the salmon, instead of towards it. You also want dishwasher on the disinfectant setting.

I used to live on the west coast and we did make “dishwasher fish”. I remember it being soft and got good at all. Enjoy :)

I've cooked steak in a dishwasher before. Comes out really juicy and tender. Try a coffee pot. Put steak in the coffee pot, then just brew coffee. It gets a nice coffee marinade.

Lemon and other acidics (like tomatoes/tomato puree) should not go in aluminium foil, as that can cause tiny amounts of the aluminium to leak into the food. The packages of alu-foil (at least in my country) has a printed warning about this.

I have an idea. You know those cooking games for kids on IPhones and IPads that always have REALLY vague measurings of things? You guys should totally try to bake something just using the ingredients and measurements they show! Please do it! It would be SOOOO funny!
