I'm not sure it is for the better. Maybe it is good for mass player who enjoy games like Genshin it is ok. I was interested in the tactical aspect of the battle

Will arknights finally become mainstream? They deserve it, Hypergryph is a very talented company, people will finally see their unique artistic vision and world building.
The graphics look pretty sweet, I like the color palette, not the typical super saturated cell-shaded look that many 3D games in this space seem to be going for so it's pleasantly refreshing. The UI design is super smooth and satisfying too. I hope they have a lot of enemy variety not just visually, but mechanically, so the gameplay experience stays fresh.
This is that type of a game that one need to try for themselves. Looking from the side, follow someone else opinions, comparing to other gachas - none of it won't cut it.

So. I started Arknights 1 month ago. I only have enough GB for one game on my phone. Should I just stay with the original Arknights game or wait for this one? (I would delete Arknights then and would download this one when it's released). I just think that I'm pretty late to play the original Arknights game because it would take months/years to get on a level were some og players are today. And if I download this one then I could start from the beginning with all other players and there wouldn't be this massive time gap. (Sorry if I wrote something wrong. Well, it's up to your decision, if you find joy on tower defense game, then og ak. But if you like some sandbox type game that has Factorio and Xenoblade mechanic, then Endfield
There’s feature in arknights that allow you to borrow any unit, even the highest rarity ones, in most content.(as long as someone in your friendlist has that unit) so you don’t have to worry about not being able to complete all the content due to missing out on a lot. And arknights is one of those games that gets to a point where your units can’t get anymore stronger and have to fully rely on your brain and skill (or youtube guides if you’re bad), so the main focus is less about how strong your units are, and more about how well you use them. Hope this address concerns of og players vs new players gap As for endfield or original? Your choice, it’s 2 complete genres and other than they’re in the same world and same IP, can’t compare them gameplay wise
if you only have gb enough for 1 game on your phone you shouldnt probably download the open world game that would probably have gb upon gb of updates in the near future. Stick to playing on a laptop or pc for open world games
While the new graphic is better, im much more interested in the older version of combat gameplay which can be seen inspired by Xenoblade. This one just look like any other open world action gacha game.
All of it looks great except the combat. Combat matters a lot to me in action games and it's something I tend to dislike in these gacha games. I feel it's the constant stream of characters that stop them from having a more interesting combat system.
The only "meh" I see is that MC's face is hidden. I always love open-world rpg games but I always tend to use MC a lot more and seeing their faces is much better than being covered. Hope the devs can make just a few tweaks of it, maybe an eye patch or something if they really want to go with facial accessory. Or at least give us the option to remove the mask.
according to the dev u can unmask as u progress, the mask does act as a part of the plot for some reasons (but masked female mc looks good and cute for me tho)
