you caught the very specific Knopfler's picking fingerstyle, which is in itself already a true skill, and then being also able to put his feeling in the playing, without missing a note and while staying stuck to this variable tempo... well this deserves some sincere applause. MK is my number one influence (being a guitarist myself), so I can appreciate the work behind this video. Congrats !

Absolutely incredible. The last section of this song is in my opinion the very best version so much more happening than just the guitar, those piano scales a pretty spot on .that guitar is more than a solo on the alchemy version the space is just perfect that must have taken such a long time to learn. Obviously Mark wrote it so it's much easier for him to play but to be able to replicate it so precisely blows my head mate. .
Wow. The Alchemy album is one of the best guitaralbums I've ever heard. I listened to it sooo many times. This cover is spot on. Compliments!!! I find it always a shame when Knopfler isn't mentioned in a Top 10 guitarist poll (and when you Do see Kirk Cobain haha), because there are not many guitarist, that play so melodically and soulful. David Gilmour can. He is also a very, but technically Knopfler is on a bit higher level. All these tiny bits and pieces in his solos; superb!
