Love this movie. I think it’s rude to assume they ‘have no chemistry’ or that Daisy is being horrible to Tom. They could have been having an off day, Daisy could have been focused on staying in character, you simply just don’t know, so don’t assume. This movie was really enjoyable and interesting and I think they worked really hard on it. Not all casts have to look like their having fun all the time, ever hear that this is their JOB? As much as it’s a passion it’s still work, and most of the time I expect they need to be focussed on lines and getting into character etc. I’m not an actor so I wouldn’t completely know or understand. I think most behind the scenes videos try to show you all the fun bits and bloopers but this video probably wasn’t focussed on that.

I do understand what you are saying but sadly it didn’t live up to the expectations that many of us were looking for. The biggest thing is that many of us that have read the books didn’t like it much. Soo much of the story has been changed from the books and is really different from it. Also they just took too long to create the movie, there’s so many awkward parts in the movie which is really disappointing due to how long they took to create it. If they had stuck to the original storyline it would have been much better. I do agree with you about the chemistry thing tho, people keep saying there’s no chemistry but I see the opposite. I also don’t really think it’s the actors fault for it, the productions company didn’t prepare enough for it

They need to fit as much as they could into a small 1-2 hour movie, While trying their hardest to make it interesting, Somewhat resemble to original story and also add their own twist or story to it so it isn't exactly a rip off from the books, Everyone has their own visions specially directors, Sometimes those visions work some times they don't, That's just life of being part of making movies.

Many assumed that because it took so long to make it would be really good! Lastly lots of the characters in the movie are shown different then in the book. Making some of the evil characters almost gentle and nice like in the movie. Which just took away lot of the net details of the book. Th also changed just so much of the story for the movie that it’s not even a little bit close to the book
I believe at 2:10 Tom is talking about when he was filming The Impossible :) when he refers to a dam being released. The behind the scenes for that film were amazing and terrifying for when they filmed the tsunami scenes
The vibe between the cast is so weird...like in a bad way 1:09 that lady gave Tom a weird look And the relationship between Tom and Daisy doesn’t feel right...something is so off

Just saw it in a theater. Fans of Doug Liman's psychological approach to characters and character arcs will love this. Live Die Repeat fans (Edge of Tomorrow) fans will like it. Based on pro critic reviews, the idea of men's thoughts unmasked--and male thoughts unmasking guilty sins they can no longer keep hidden (chaos walking, all your thoughts visible to others) did not interest critics. I laughed outloud several times; yet, I was the only one int eh theater enjoying it this much. Heck, I liked Impulse too.

Personally i don't think Daisy is unfriendly shes rather more neutral in the interaction, because she doesn't really show any negative actions in the interaction. She doesn't say much which could be prematurely mistaken for rudeness while in fact she listens to Tom attentively. Its also important to consider that this is one interaction we see between the two with no context, for all we could know this could be after a very long day of shooting and they could be a bit tired, which you could argue due to Tom mentioning the shot they just did involving him chasing her. Either way i think both actors are very professional and kind people.
I loved the books so I hope the film is going to catch up. But it's weird to watch an behind the scenes without any idea of when I can see the whole film. I'm still hoping for the best, even if the critics sound different.

I think I found out why. Notice once she boards she says fearfully “I can’t swim”. Usually when people board boats they usually make sure they know how to swim in case of emergency.

Doug Liman produced __ and brings us in with, "It's the first day of shooting. Miraculously, we wrote a great scene for today last night." ... LAST NIGHT!!? This movie was announced in 2017 that's 3 years since Doug Liman's team agreed to use scenes from "last night?" On "the first day of shooting?" 2 main actors from Star Wars and Marvel didn't have the motivation to write a better movie!? Tom Holland & Daisy Ridley are lovely actors, but they made -$98 MILL. I'm a broke homie telling you the truth, we need to be aware to prevent professional acts like this from happening again!
