St Pete and Pinellas County commissioners are playing more games and still trying to deflect blame onto the Rays when it clearly falls on the commissioners. Its this type of small town passive aggressive BS that St Pete excels at
Do not give a billion dollar owner 600 million to build a stadium let him build it if he wants one in this economy good luck finding a city that wants to give you 600 million dollars
More run, Salt Lake City, UT has a $900 million standing offer to the Rays toward a stadium. This economy? You’re poor bc of your choices. Other ppl are successful in this economy!
@@tringuyen7519 Utah is dumb enough to hand over $1 Billion from their pockets, others have figured out the scam (like Kansas City, etc). Utah are a bunch of rubes getting conned.
@@tringuyen7519stadiums are bad for taxpayers.. if the state of Utah has surplus cash to waste that’s their choice. Look at Dade/Miami, that baseball stadium has been a money pit for taxpayers
`Beaches BEFORE Baseball! NO TAX DOLLARS for a wasteful stadium! Noone attends the games there as is! Our Beaches need to be fixed now! NO BONDS NO BASEBALLS ; Tear down the Trop now! Send the Rays to Tampa our somewhere else!
Nope. The county needlessly caused a delay, and this has greatly inflated the cost for the Rays. You are expected to side with the financially inept county comms because billionaires are evil.
Everyone who doesn’t want the Rays in Pinellas is welcome to watch Salt Lake City, UT rake in $ millions from bringing the Rays to UT. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!
MLB has a money problem. Chicago WS, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Arizona, Tampa, and the A’s could ALL be looking for new ballparks or venues if financing and attendance (ballpark prices and accessibility) don’t improve! That’s 6 teams!! Heck I could throw in Milwaukee and make it 7!! There’s a real push for $$$ to build and make better but to also drive up attendance. Are we facing a situation where baseball has a feasibility crisis?? 😳🤯😓
Most the population in the US wants to see the deal not happen and MLB foots the bill for their own stadium.
St Pete can live without the rays.. tax dollars can be spent better elsewhere at this point in time

Rays don't have to do anything.... St. Pete and Pinellas have dug themselves a hole that they need to dig out of. Rays are doing business.
Send a letter to the Rays to not go away mad, just go away.

We can no longer afford to waste money on luxuries like baseball teams in our city. We have bigger problems.
i think the Rays will eventually relocate to Charlotte under a rebranded Charlotte Knights.😂😂😂
The Rays will build in Tampa.
So the government kills the deal by pulling the money and then they ask the team what they are waiting for? Am I missing something?

Oakland Rays
Both teams need to leave Florida. When you can’t sell out a playoff game it’s over.
