Fair play for braving the old Luas from Tallaght down to Bluebell - no video footage of that journey??? Probably for the best. I recognise the little walk through the "Valley" to the Long Mile Road, that used to be junkie central but nowadays it's a nice stroll. It's just a shame you didn't walk from there up the road into Inchicore to see a respectable club - Super Saints!
Tallaght is the model the rest of the league need to follow. Build it and they will come.
Rovers and Bohs play again in the return game in Dalymount on the 3rd of May. Do that for a video to get both sides of it. There's also the Irish Cup final between Cliftonville and Linfield the day after in Windsor Park too
Not necessarily it was built in a county of 1.5millon,a bit different to sligo rovers which has an available fan base of 70 000

Enjoyed the video. To say last Fridays game was the biggest in the history of the fixture is off the mark. Rovers/Bohs have played a cup final with over 40k, cup semi finals with bigger crowds and league games in the past with huge crowds in both Milltown and Dalymount. It is the biggest attended league game since Tallaght Stadium was built in 2009 and obviously with the stadium just fully completed that brings the capacity to over 10,000. When the stadium was opened first this fixture would of sold out at around 6K with only two stands. The loi will never reach the attendance between the 1920' and early 70's again but it is certainly on the up compared the last few decades.

Great video mate! I was there in the south stand. First time in Ireland, visiting from the US, and had to make it to the biggest derby in the country. What a match and what an atmosphere!

Very few of the older generation that used to cause mayhem at this game, It was the one game that didn't disappoint in our little league that is getting more competitive by the way, But it's the younger generation's turn now few more years and they'll be going at each other can see that there really enjoying there local teams and happy to represent 👍☘☘☘

Just to clarify @6:05 its not the first time Tallaght has sold out in so long! They only opened the new North Stand this season, so its the first time they've sold out with the increased capacity. It was the highest LOI league attendance since 1990 though!

Rover/Pat's in 1990 had 25k at the rds and Cork City v Dundalk had 12k at Turners Cross around 91/92. Rovers/Bohs cup game in Dalymount had 12k in 93/94
