Gosh I remember running N Chick in the mid 80s. Went up with friends including Mike Miller owner of Go With The Flow here in Atlanta. No one had paddled it in our group and to our knowledge no one had paddled it at the level it was when we arrived. The first 1/3 mile the water was just hauling thru brush. Bob O'Conner lost/broke his kayak paddle and tried paddling with a extra canoe paddle that Tim Kelly had on his C1. He hiked out. I remember V Slot even today (didn't know if it had a name back then). When it came into view one guy was swimming out of a hole and another was back endering. We had put on late and the last 30 minutes or so we were running class III in the DARK. One of the most challenging runs I've ever done. I enjoyed the video and conjuring up some memories from the "older I get the better I was" file.
