      Joe is not ready to explore the revolutionary ideas that Paul brings forward. Ive been listening to JRE for over 1000 podcasts and my opinion is that Joe wouldnt be able to meet Paul in a place where the truth can be shared openly without judgement. Joe would ridicule Paul for some of the things he believes in and Joe's extreme skepticism would derail any real stringline truth from coming down the pike, as Joe would be going down deep rabbit holes of asking skeptical questions about every single concept. When the world and Joe are ready, Paul will be seen on the JRE with over a million veiws, but its not time yet.

      Paul Chek i love how you delegated it, to Great Spirit. Many of my good brothers are indigenous peoples of this land called Canada. In a small town called Richibucto, in the Province of New Brunswick. All the elders I’ve spoke to throughout my life, have always mentioned great spirit. Or, Creator Rather than “the” creator. Much of all mythologies are miss interpreted, mostly. I guess by lack of depth and cross reference into the studies. I’ve read many great old eastern works. From various sources, and the similarities to indigenous beliefs are very evident. As i asked many elders, who’d never read into taosim. They found the philosophies very humbling. Anyhow, I Appreciated your reply, and felt compelled to share this with you. ....As flipped my ipad up,
      the comment section appeared, and i seen this comment.. the reply begged the read, and come to see you personally replied. That’s spot on! Salute to your great work my friend 👊

    7:35 Actually, Chek gets it entirely backwards here. Christianity actually extorts love for Yahweh from humans by forcing us to at the gunpoint of eternal damnation if we don't. That is the diametric opposite of free will. True free will would be if there was no added punishment if we chose not to.

    Integrating the concept of the devil/satan certainly means being able to guard against that force. The devil is a spirit that manifests ubiquitously within humanity. When "the devil" is present its characteristics are common throughout mankind ie. Malice, deception, hatred, resentment, murderous, lustful, lazy, confused, etc. Something I wish this cast delved into is the importance of battling and overcoming satan. I understand the importance of recognizing satan and acknowledging its value but there isn't anything to be found in listening and conversing with satan. It is a deceptive spirit and will use one truth to undermine a greater truth. For example when Paul talks about sacrificing a lesser being for the sake of a greater cause (forest and constituents for school) that is a deceptive concept. Then what would you do were you to place a higher value on human free will than on human life? We surely cant rely on our own systems of valuation at that point.
    Awesome convo nonetheless with truth seekers.

      "No Mind = No Devil"
      The beauty of meditation and spiritual practices, such as Tai-chi, Qi-gong, and flow states induced by dance, drumming, music, athletics is that they all induce coherence, harmony, and ONENESS; to have a Devil, there must be 2; one good and one evil.
      These are deep concepts that most people haven't pondered because to really contemplate them requires that one rise above the programmed mind, which people don't generally do until they've experienced enough pain to realize that only they can change their experience, and ultimately, that requires effective use of mind; in this case, not using one's mind opens the flow of the authentic energy and information from Source, which is WHOLENESS, from which there is no antagonistic polarities.
      Somethings, such as no-mind states can't be intellectualized, only experienced, and anyone that has been in a legitimate no-mind state knows what I"m sharing intimately.
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

      @@PaulChekLive i really appreciate the dialogue! I agree with the accuracy of the "no mind = no devil" concept but I feel like its not precise enough. I have entered those states and seek to be in that state as often as possible but that level doesn't negate the truth of duality. Like you said: ascend and integrate what you've moved out of. Our shadow doesn't stop being our shadow when we accept it, we simply recognize and utilize it. The same applies for our personal "devil" it remains a force with the potential to undermine the higher self but the "no mind" states allow us to recognize the code errors generating its power while simultaneously transforming its connotation to positive. So I definitely understand where you're coming from but my point is that it in my experience it requires a wrestling of sorts to ensure the higher self is strengthened by the "devils" attempts of submission. Just my thoughts. Thank you for the insights and practical suggestions!

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive 5 років тому +2

      @@ethanwalton2093 Hi,
      Great to see you doing some constructive thinking in regard to the devil/evil.
      These issues give us a chance to more deeply explore what "GOD" is; one's view of what GOD is is called their "First Principle".
      To the degree that one understands what GOD IS, then to that very degree, one also knows that regardless of how things appear to the limited perception of most human minds, there is a Divine Function to ALL THAT IS. If we orient ourselves to understanding where "the love is" in what appears dark, we grow, but it takes a lot of bravery. If you listen carefully to what inspired Aubrey to ask me about the devil to begin with, it was his own confrontation with what he felt to be evil or the devil within himself during a plant medicine journey. Meeting the darkness within ourselves is VERY common on plant medicines of all types, and to the degree that one is anchored in love and their connection to Great Spirit, such challenging and often scary experiences cultivate greater meaning and higher levels of awareness, which is the very basis of true conscious/spiritual growth.
      If you do understand "no mind = no devil", then you must also understand that learning to manage one's mind is functionally equal to learning to "see through the devil to identify the symptoms of a lack of love and connection to self and/or others and nourish such deficiencies with love for healing and growth."
      Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings in this regard.
      Love and chi,

      I find the "no mind = no devil" statement a way of dodging the actual topic. They discussed a bunch of ideas, but didn't say much about "the devil".
      All cultures have hell realms, demons, malevolent entities etc. Instead of acknowledging these phenomena and discussing them, things degenerated into a circle jerk full of heady concepts, all thrown around so lightly as to not mean much at all.

  • @jamesstaggs4160

    Alright so if the ego doesn't control anything then what does the controlling? If you say God then we're all a part of God and we're not separate, so again, what is doing the controlling. Something has to be running the show right?
    I've said it a whole bunch of times but I'm not sure discarding the ego is the way to go. Ego gives us a sense of self and individuality right? Why does that need to be gotten rid of? Yes it's all of it is an illusion, but we created the illusion and we made the choice to have an ego along with forgetting what we are. Could we not being the ego to heel? Can we not maintain our sense of being an individual while still knowing we're also the whole? It's just an idea. I don't know so that's why I'm putting the question out there.

    Paul is the man and my main mentor !!!I I have never disagreed with anything he has said and also to preface, I want to see RFK as the next president, not anyone else. . With that said , he was wrong about Trump and his motives. It's hard to believe that I am calling Paul wrong but maybe he has changed his stance on trump a bit since this aired.

      No, it is one's perception of, and experience of "The Tao That Can't Be Spoken", but can be experienced in states of "No-Mind".
      Remember, Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching itself is essentially "his words used to describe the indescribable."

    Also theres older religions than hinduism...

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive 5 років тому +2

      All religions emerged from Shamanism. If you want to study the history of world religions, I highly recommend "Rivers Of Life or Faiths of Man" by J.G.R. Forlong. Its VERY comprehensive and if you are lucky enough to find a set of these books with the map that normally comes with them, he mapped the entire unfolding of world religions from the very beginning. Some of my students managed to find his map on the web, so hopefully you can too.
      You may also find "Essential Sacred Writings From Around The World" by Mircea Eliade, and several of his other excellent books helpful in your explorations of this topic, not to mention the writings of Joseph Campbell, Ken Wilber, Dustin Diperna, Allan Watts, Terrence McKenna, and more....
      Enjoy,

    Paul’s description of the death of a star isn’t correct I don’t think, seems he’s mixed several ways stars may die together.

      HI,
      podcasts with a timer running and such deep conversations can pressurize one such that multiple thoughts are rushing for the wind-gate at once....A star explodes (extreme yang), collapses into itself turning into a black hole (extreme yin), drawing matter into itself for potentially millions of miles around (according to Stephen Hawking), compressing the material into a new star; my point being that on a Universal level, the force attributed to evil (destruction, immanent change) is inherent in the fabric of Universal Creation. Look at the face of the moon for instance, and you'll see that it has had the hell beaten out of it, without which, it wouldn't reflect light as it does; so if you can imagine you were the moon, the phase of "polishing the mirror" would certainly have felt evil, but in the end, "we see the light" that emerges from what may have once felt or been perceived as evil.
      Frankly, I find The Electric Universe (search this for a lot of absolutely amazing, cutting edge science on cosmology as well as earth, Nature and Human understanding) model much more comprehensive, logical and fulfilling....but to make a point, it is often better to draw on conventional ideologies and my point was merely to demonstrate polarity.
      Thank you for paying attention!
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

    Last time I checked the Devil works through temptation and not resistance... God tests with resistance, the devil creates temptation.

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive 5 років тому +4

      Temptation = options = Freedom to choose.
      Resistance is relative to one's own internal friction around any perceived choice.
      GOD doesn't "test", GOD IS; God may test because any "God" is an "idea" with it's own set of programmed characteristics; every war is essentially a clash of "my God vs. your God."
      As I shared in the interview, "no mind, no Devil", and all "Gods and gods" are products of mind/belief systems. When you are in deep dreamless sleep, there is no Devil. When we wake up and turn on our mind/belief system (the territory of ego), the Devil wakes up with us :-)
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

    God is love. The devil's head was crushed by Christ when He died on the cross for our sins.

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive 5 років тому +1

      Interesting comment; Do you think, honestly, that "Christ" who is said to be the embodiment of GOD (Unconditional Love), would crush the head of any being, particularly when anyone that understands what the word "GOD" means knows that ALL Beings and ALL that IS are expressions of The One Divine Source?
      Love and chi,

      Paul Chek I'm gladly surprised to hear from you Mr. Chek! I have your book how to eat move and be healthy and have followed you for a few years now. Thank you for all your hard work in the field of health and wellness and your dedication to human flourishing. To answer your question though, I don't understand God to be one with everything else in the sense that you mean. God is Holy, set apart from creation. His essence is in all created things since He created everything. But He is transcendent in His being, His character. He is morally perfect and pure. We were once morally pure too but He created us with the capacity to corrupt ourselves. The good news is that those who trust in God's son, who took our punishment on Himself for our sin, are in a restored relationship with God and are being perfected by His spirit every day. So given all that, I can believe that God would crush the devil or anything evil.
