Disney could really use another Frank Wells. Notice his comment near the end of the video where he says if the executives and cast members operate the company the way Walt intended, then the stock price would take care of itself. Frank Wells’ speech in this video should be required viewing for every current Disney executive.

1000% yes and the Bobs will never understand that. They’re obsessed with money grabs

I know Wells wasn’t really a front runner for speeches but damn that was a hell of a speech. In his wallet he carried a fortune cookie receipt saying “Humility is the final achievement.”❤

I really loved Michael and Frank's Era because they had that yin ☯️ and yang relationship just like how the Walt and Roy Era took place many decades ago

Sadly the turmoil and drama started after Frank Wells died in a tragic accident on Easter 1994. But Disney 20-25 ago was ran 100 times better and focused on guest satisfaction than the circus we have currently.

Couldn’t agree more. Once Frank was gone, everyone was out to get Michael & he just couldn’t do it all alone with no viable partner or successor.

I was proud to work for and know them enough to say they are genuine in their zeal to do great things. They are the real deal.

Notice how Eisner spent a lot of time talking about himself while Wells spoke about the company and the employees? Yea.

“We are here to operate this company the way Walt Disney laid it down decades ago” Frank Wells

Eisner didn’t have the level of experience that Wells had. ofc he’s gonna talk about himself, he has to pitch everyone why he’s the right man for the ship.

I wonder how things would’ve been if Frank Wells hadn’t died.

How ironic that the last song is "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah."

Eisner is lying! In the Disney War book by James Stewart it says that Eisner never saw a Disney movie when he was a Kid and only went to Disneyland once with his children before becoming CEO.

Eisner didn’t write that book, so those aren’t his words. I read it and I believe Michael’s own words more than a book written by someone else with their own agenda

I honestly don’t care. Say what you want about Eisner but he ran the company why better than the crap show we have today.
