In today's episode, chaos breaks out during SoupforEloise's Head Hunt event. I develop a strategy to win solo despite playing against teams of 2, and we spend far too many coins to get 2 coins back.
Minecraft SOS is a hardcore Mineraft server with a twist: anyone who dies can be revived within 24 hours using a Fate Coin. If the timer counts down to zero, they're lost forever and can never respawn! But the supply of coins is limited, and additional coins are only rewarded for completing challenges and difficult advancements...

Honestly I’m really glad that Pix did this with the wardens, mostly to showcase how much of a non threat they can be if you know what you’re doing. I was shocked they were worth so many points tbh. A well earned cheesy win haha

This was definitely one of the best events for chaos..😂 I was watching it live on Jimmy's stream and laughed out loud when I heard Sausage say Pixlriffs I knew it!!!! I had no idea at first what he was talking about.
Congrats Pix. I'm watching the official sos playlist so I've already seen Mythical Saudages pov, it was quite the event, losing 32 coins while you're peacefully farming wardens at your majestic dig. I'll watch this episode after work.

As someone who has farmed warden's recently for a server's custom mob drops, you can break the sensors and just stand on the shriekers to activate them. It's range is then just one block (on top) and you can also replace the sensors at anytime.
You can, but then you aren’t out range and able to shoot.
@@JohnR31415 I know this challenge is to not "farm" them but if you make a noisemaker and a bubble column and move them 24 blocks away, you can gather a bunch at once and then kill them in bulk with a piercing or multishot crossbow, infinity bows, tnt, weaken them with wither roses, etc and then get the player kill. By standing on the shrieker and estimating mobcap to be around 20 wardens, I can afk for about 20 minutes and kill the stored wardens in like 3 mins.
This is why Pix is the Master of Survival Guide.

I remember the day on my friend's realm when the wither got loose, and half of us died... chaos. At least I lived!
ive learnt alot about wardens after making the deep dark the first thing i look for. the wardens sonic boom range is a few blocks shorter than his darkness effect. you can toe this line. the moment you step onto the block that is in range, youll hear him charge up. going one block back completely disarms him
having that much knowledge tunrs the warden into a very pathetic creature, and i love that

I never thought we would see Pix killing a warden at all
been catching up on these episodes and i just love the way you edit the opener and closing shots of the episodes. your title cards are so cool and shaders with the ominously suspenseful music and the sudden cut to the title card lends an ominous air to the entire affair thats very contradictory to the actual content and very on theme to the premise of the server and i love it.
The title of this video reminds me of that one "installing arch while parents are arguing" video
The first warden I spawned was a few weeks ago and I got really lucky because I flew away to safety and he got trapped in flowing water. He died after I shot him many times from (very) far away.
I wish there was more of this series on a regular basis

There was no rule against being out of range of a monster's attacks.
There *was* a rule against using pre-existing heads, which is exactly what Sausage did. So I am glad he didn't win with that strategy. Crime doesn't pay, at least some of the time.

Points for each head should be addresed after the finish. Most common head should give 0 points and most rare should give 100 or something. :)
That'd be an interesting way to do such an event. But you gotta communicate that beforehand, changing the point system midway through would ruin the fun.

Mojang deliberately didn't give the warden much xp because they didn't want to encourage players to farm it. It's not really meant to be a boss, it's meant to be an obstacle to avoid :)

@@Pixlriffs Still, you've proven today that it's way too easy to just cheese it with a bow and arrow. In my opinion, the warden should have a counter-offensive trait that greatly (but temporarily) increases its sonic blast's range *and* charge speed when hit by a ranged attack.
